IR Designated to Return
I can't seem to put anyone in the 'designated to return' IR. I know it can be done because the CPU teams have done it. In wee 1 I lost someone for 8 weeks, clicked the 'place on IR' button assuming it would give me the option on the return designation, but it didn't.Tags: None -
Re: IR Designated to Return
I'm pretty sure you have to wait for them to be healthy to bring to them back. There isn't a specific designation that you apply to them, you just put them on IR and there should be a 'Return?' column in the injury report and when that says yes then you can bring one guy back. -

I have a guy who is now healthy, and the column says yes, but I can't figure out how to take him offComment

On top of this, I think the game always makes you wait 8 weeks minimum. So if you have a guy with a seven week injury and IR him, he's not eligible to return until he's recovered and spent one healthy week on IR.I'm pretty sure you have to wait for them to be healthy to bring to them back. Worth noting for the OP as well - there is no "designated to return" tag in Madden, you may choose any one eligible IR'd player you want to return without picking him beforehand. The NFL also got rid of the "designated to return" tag this year as well; their rules more-or-less mimic how Madden works at this point.Comment

You also have to make sure you have an open roster spot. So when the player you want to come back is healthy and the 8 weeks have passed just go into the depth chart and put him back in and he should be available.Comment
