    Kevin Harlen

I know I have seen a lot of nasty things said about Kevin Harlen and his voice work in 2k. So when I saw this Monday night I knew I would have to share it.

Come on guys show Kevin some love.

Who's ever talked down Kevin Harlan? I thought the consensus is that he is one of the top play-by-play commentators in sports games.

I love Kevin Harlan in live broadcasts. I just don't think it translates as well to the video game world. The lines he delivers in 2k don't have the same excitement and fluidity as what he does in real life.

All commentary will repeat, get old, and ultimately SKIPPED by almost everyone 1 month after release.

I think its cool, but honestly...not needed now-a-days.

Commentary and presentation ere HUGE when games were limited in what they could do on screen, and they were needed to really tie in the realism.

But now, games have caught up , and 2k especially, is damn close to real life game play than NBA Live 95 was.

I used to think 2k got way too much praise for their commentary and presentation, while it helps with immersion, it will get skipped to play the game.

I will donate 8% of my salary this year to have a Kevin Harlen doing a play by play of an on court streaker easter egg in NBA2K18

I'm referring to in-game commentary, not the pre and post-game shows.
