Re: How to Create a True Rookie?
I think the only way you can create a player and say he is aa rookie, is put his draft year as 2016. Otherwise ea has to do it. It sucks. -
Re: How to Create a True Rookie?
Seriously?
In last years game, down at the bottom of the player info screen, there was an option to make the player a rookie or not. Now it's gone!
It's yet another thing that EA decided to take away for some stupid reason.
I'll add it to the list with not being able to change a players height, weight and preferred jersey number anymore. All things that we could change in Edit Player, and now can't.
I just don't get it. I've never seen a company continuously take 1 step forward and 2 steps back as often as EA.Comment

Re: How to Create a True Rookie?
I'm trying to create a player with rookie status. No luck so far i tried the draft year 2016, when I start Franchise mode his draft year turns into undrafted and not a rookie. Did that work for anyone? Is there anything else i need to do ?
Can someone please help ? Much appreciated thanks!!Comment

Re: How to Create a True Rookie?
This is actually funny, I logged in to see if i can try to find an answer to this myself. Was wondering why my created player is never listed as a rookie.. its frustrating, but not the end of the world.
But Ya, I enter draft team, year, etc.. But my created "rookie" is listed as undrafted haha... I know this wasnt an issue in NHL16.
so weird.Comment
