NBA2K17 MyTeam Impressions thread

Thought I would start one specific to MyTeam.

I played it for around 2 hours, here are a few things I noticed on both positive and negative sides:

- The "free agent" card thing is kind of silly, I already have Steph Curry and Paul George and also pulled an Igoudala, also packed an emerald Jimmy Butler and gold Jrue Holiday from my pre order packs. I preferred having to work from all bronzes etc

- no custom playbooks still :/

- Sapphire player rewards for all current team collections, diamonds for all hidtorics

- Challenges are quite varied, had to come back from 10 points down in a half in one, hold the lead and hit 3 3 pointers in 4 minutes in another

- the substitution time out menu is really weird and will take time to figure out

- only one card pack type called League Pack right now

Anyone else played yet?

Oh and earning MT from good defensive possessions, well contested shots and shot clock violations is a nice touch to reward proper game play

And they have coach cut scenes of your coach giving advice with sampled voice from real coaches during time outs occasionally too even in Myteam

Are there different gem levels for each card? And are there any historic or other players out besides the current?

Just picked up the game 12 hours early in the US. Setting everything rn can't wait to check it out.

How is Steph? I was thinking of going with lebron or Westbrook to start with.

BTW just saw in a thread that the max selling point in the AH for sapphires was 100k. Very interesting.

I saw a Shawn Kemp pulled in the pack opening trailer. Is there any indication that some legends are available from the beginning?

I also like how hen you get to your redeem packs, there is info bar scrolling on the bottom letting you know what people are currently pulling from packs and their user name...nice touch.

Can't buy VC yet.

Saphire Curry is so freaking OP in domination its ridiculous...stealing , crossing and raining 3s. Card worth every penny.

these challenges lmaoooo. i can say that they arent a chore to play like last year. the bulls ones gave me a meltdown tho. that new rebound system is no joke
