    Fatigue / Stamina

Hi everyone. I've searched and couldn't find a definitive answer so I decided to post. Is anyone noticing that resting players on the bench is not having any real effect on the energy ratings?

I sat Jimmy Butler and Rondo at about 3 min left in the half at 67 and 64 respectively. When I came back from half, they were only at 74 and 72. Does that seem right to you guys?

I have stamina at 60 and fatigue at 55 since I play 10 min quarters. Not sure what changed from 16 but I got better results with fewer tweaks last year.

    Open to any suggestions. Thanks.

I'm noticing the same thing. The stamina system was supposed to be more punitive this year, which certainly seems to be the case. Playing 6 minute quarters, my starters are getting around 18 minutes, which when you extrapolate it out, is still pretty high. To your point, I don't see anyone, starters or bench players coming back from halftime with 100 stamina anymore. I'm on default sliders, but to finish the game without the tired icon, it seems you have to try to rest them late 3rd and early 4th quarters.

Am I alone in thinking players should come back more after half time? That's about 15 or 20 min of rest.

Yeah im noticing the same, I play on auto subs/Fatigue because in the past I felt that the starters came out too fast when on rotation. This year after half time my bench is still on the floor, I mass sub my starters in and they get subbed right back out pretty quick in the 3rd quarter.
In years past when I played with subs on auto/fatigue the starters played just about the entire game, this year it's not the case the fatigue makes you play with your bench more which I like but my starters should not still be so tired that they can't start after half-time, going to change my subs to rotation and see how that works. I play 8 min quarters by the way.

No, I completely agree. It seems out of whack as a way to avoid people being able to just turbo around with their superstar

I thought that was weird too. I played a quick game with the Knicks earlier and actually had to play Vujacic because my guards were all tired. I don't even use the sprint button that often. Overall, it feels like they recover much more slowly than before but maybe they did that to replicate real life fatigue that players feel at the end of games.

The only thing I can think of is the energy ratings "might be" weighted differently this year. I saw a thread where someone asked when are players actually affected by fatigue/low energy. It seems the same as last year but maybe it's not.

no you arent alone. *in real life* anybody thats ever played any sport comes back rested after halftime. in b/w quarter breaks help as well.
