    Nascar Heat Evo Need Help

Ok so I have played many racing games and with this one I find myself at a loss? I have tried both Normal and Sim Physics I have tried messing with the car setups. No matter what I do the cars just seem to drive like I am on Ice in 2nd gear out of the pits I spin mid corner I spin front straight I spin if ease on or off the gas I spin light braking I spin. What am I doing wrong here?

Anyone have any Setup advice? Gear settings? I am at a loss here I want to dive into this game but I can not even get around the track? I feel like such a noob lol.

    Thanks all

The best setting I've found is Normal physics with the hood cam. The car feels responsive without wanting to spin out of control every time you steer or tap the brake. The downside is you can't see what's going on around you since they left out the option to look right or left. You have to rely heavily on your spotter.

As for Sim, I'm not even touching that for now. It needs some work.

I was afraid of that, So much for learning car setups. Sim def feels like it is built for a Wheel. and with my Controller it is crazy hard.

      thanks for the reply

Sim is doable with a controller. It will frustrate you though. The sensitivity settings don't do enough to help though. As long as you're running stable lines, smooth, light on the triggers you'll be fine. If someone touches you though, it's pretty unlikely that you'll save it. If they can make it more manageable with a controller, it would go a long ways in making this game playable.

Normal mode for me, is useless. No setups. Unrealistic grip levels, Unrealistically low speeds, it almost seems like the cars auto brake in corners on some of the ovals too. It's just a mess.

the biggest problem here, is they didn't leave any options anywhere to customize your difficulty settings. It's either normal, or sim. If you don't like it, too bad. Sim would be so much better if you could add some form of anti-lock brake assistance, traction and stability control like all other racing games provide.
