defenders protecting the sideline, and NOT the basket.

i guess you can add this to the growing list with defenders leaving their man for no reason, players stonewalling other players, etc.

it happens on literally every trip down the floor after a made basket. the cpu ai will hug the sideline and leave a wide open lane to the basket. again, fundamentals...

    *bump*

it's not too big of a deal, but it still happens and is a fundamental element.

I've noticed this. Its not as common as the brick wall defense or defenders leaving their man wide open under the basket, but it is definitely a legitimate issue.

2K needs a big time patch to clean up all these defensive issues.

What mode is that? How do you play with those shirts?

Ya AI defenders have always been a little overly protective of the sideline. Not just this year. You can go baseline sometimes, but it feels like a bit more of a chore than it should, esp if you have someone that is quick off the dribble
