Just lost my career and hours of play
Tried to load....shows an invisible player walking in your my court carrying bag. If you try to hit x and advance to look at calendar day it boots you out and reloads. Player was a 93 and it appears is now lost. Hours and hours of time lost...not to mention about 20 dollars of VC. If I can't recover. ..guess I'm done before we even get to October. You can see your badges n attributes all intact...but no stats at player stats. If anyone had experienced this would appreciate any info. Tried reloading after backing all the way out....no improvement.Tags: None -

I heard people receive compensation on lost characters via support . I know its frustrating dealing sometime with canned response until they actually touch on your problem.Tried to load....shows an invisible player walking in your my court carrying bag. If you have PS+ you have a backup file on your online storage.Tried to load....shows an invisible player walking in your my court carrying bag. Go to the PS settings in the PS menu. Then go to "Application saved data management" and then go "saved data in online storage". Thats how u check if you have a backup file on the online storage.
If you do. Delete the mycareer file you currently have on your system storage or simply delete it in the 2k menu (DO NOT DELETE THE ONE YOU HAVE ON YOUR ONLINE STORAGE). After you deleted the file from the system storage simply download the file you have on your online storage.Comment

Re: Just lost my career and hours of play
Did you try what LloydBanks suggested?
Mine usually backs up to the cloud every day after I play, so maybe you aren't missing that much progress.
I understand you're frustrated and I would be too, but it's at least worth a shot."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this....but did not work. I emailed 2K support as well...gotta response back asking for even more information. Gut feeling tells me I'm SOL....but will see what happens. Pretty obvious not going to be able to recoup file....if 2K would just apply enough VC to recoup the 93 overall player rating I'd be happy. Would have to grind back through story and badges.... but would be OK with that. Doubt they do anything though.Comment

Re: Just lost my career and hours of play
e-mail 2k. They will give you the vc back probably, but I dunno if they can recreate your char or not.

Re: Just lost my career and hours of play
At very least I'd be diligent trying to preserve the saves. You almost have to turn off the automatic file save to cloud if possible. I looked at what it cost to just straight upgrade player...if you factor in all vc earned through contracts, practice, etc....it's close to 150000 vc to get there. That is starting fresh with NO badges, practice attributes, and attribute cap upgrades. So if I spent 50 dollars on vc...I'd still have hell of grinding to do to get back where I was. I could enjoy the mode almost with the credit. ...but still...Comment
