Seriously what was EA thinking gauntlet challenges has to be the worst idea going. Defense challenge force 2 CPU incomplete passes. Yeah goodluck literally it's all luck. Csnt sack the QB put all your Dlinemen on spys eventually someone will get open. Play zone the cup will dot it up.

I am on the defense one now, already did the rushing and passing. The 2 incompletions was tough, it took me about 10 tries. Several times I got one imcompletion, then a sack. Or they completed an easy dumpoff to the rb.

Other than this one, it has taken me no more than 3 tries for any of the rest, getting most on the first attempt. Definitely worth the rewards. For one sequence, you get 2 pro packs, 2 all-pro packs, 1 legend pack, and then 1 guaranteed elite (and not a ltd use one like the last gauntlet). And don't forget the contract packs, which helps make up for having to use contracts on all these solo challenges.

This Gauntlet is awesome, the rewards are awesome, MUT is really stepping it up this year.

The awards are fine I beat it today. I still don't think some of them are fair like the challenge I mentioned. Anyone having trouble with just play cover 2 invert guard the flats and user your DT to get pressure.

I personally really appreciate the MUT Gauntlet. For someone that doesn't like to spend money to get packs this is the best way for me to have the chance to get all these good players. Thanks to all the coins and packs I have added at least 4 elite players to the squad. So I'm thankful for it.

im having trouble with the 2nd to last defense. The CPU basically throws the ball out of bounds every play.

Question, I've not had time to play much this year so my MUT objective is still The Kick Off, which has the objective of 'Win your first Rushing Gauntlet Challenge' I have completed the first two October challenges and no unlock.


Is this because it had to be a September Challenge or is it that I have to complete all 20 elements of the October Challenges?


Kind of irritating if it had to be a Sept one cos of course those are gone now.

I haven't tried the new ones yet but I can imagine the frustration I got stuck for days on the last on where you had to get a interception but then the CPU would run it every single play

The logic is extremely inconsistent. I just think if the goal is to stop a run or something they should be running it not passing and Versa vice tired of having to stop passing or something along those lines only to have the game call a run play every time

Maybe its my defense being pretty good but I've had no issues with the Gauntlet challenges really, in fact I found they almost seemed like too much reward for what I was actually doing, but considering I'm not that great at the game doing the harder challenges I'm not complaining..

What I am finding is, there are certain ways you are meant to play many of the challenges; for example, to get an interception I do good running Cover 4 and trying to control the LE to get pressure to cause an bad throw into an awaiting defender....When I need to get an incomplete pass, I am better using a Cover 0 blitz and controlling a blitzing LB to get the most pressure.

And of course, any challenge that requires you to score to win, you wanna time your score so there is the least amount of time on the clock else the opponent will eat you up driving down the field to win; doesn't seem to matter how great your defense is, the CPU will score most of the time.

My only annoyance rn Is that I'm stuck on one of the challenges to for incompletions but my team will either force a fumble or get a int which for some reason makes the game fail the challenge which it very much shouldn't
