took too long to start error

Has anybody gotten the too long to start error on their digital copy and if so is there an easy solution to get rid of it.

Restart xbox. Happening to me since beginning of 2k16

I've had this happen to me on and off since 2K15 and no other game does this for me at all, even WWE made by 2K.

There's the above mentioned one, there's also deleting your reserved space (though it might take a while to sync your data after so be warned) and there's resinstalling the game which I did yesterday.

If you don't want to do either of those, then just load the game without being signed in and wait until it says press A to pick your account and it should load. Not sure if that works this year but it did last year.

Happens to me a lot. This is my first time with a digital copy so it's good to know it's not just me and not my Xbox.

Sometimes it takes half a dozen attempts just to start the game.

i wouldnt mind a half dozen attempts but i havent got it to start in 3 days.

Everytime the game crashes or I close out of the game to restart it, I get this error. Even restarting the xbox doesn't work for me, I have to do a hard restart for it to work,

It's getting ridiculous.

im having the same problem too but i have it on disk, usually what il do is take it out then put it back in and it ALWAYS works on the 3rd attempt had me thinking it was my xbox until i found that out smh its simply a 2k problem none of my other games do this
