    WHEN to we expect EA to include CUSTOMIZEABLE CAMS??

    Im just curious, the year is 2016....heading to 2017 and we had over 25 iterations of Madden Football. Isnt it about time the design team at least too a stab at customize able CAMS so players can enjoy the game from the angle they feel most comfortable?

    I mean, 2K, The Show, NHL, FIFA, PES has or had it in all their games for years (maybe even centuries).....are we asking for too much here?


    I would love to create a PES or FIFA style TELE CAM so I can see most of the field sideways and slightly overhead....what a treat that would be. The ability to see the entire play develop including my recievers deep routes....SIDEWAYS!...FIFA Style

    Then the next angle I would create is a hybrid between the WIDE and Zoom that tilts slightly higher down from above!!

    Whaddya say EA????

                      Yeah, talk to the NFL about that, people blame EA but it's the NFLs choice not EAs.

                      I would like to see a custom cam but it's not a huge priority for me as I'm pretty happy with the current cameras.

                              I keep hearing, blame the NFL....I heard that for the missing tackle sound FX and now I am hearing it for the customizable CAMS??.........I think thats a cop out. Why on earth would the NFL care if there are custom CAMS that a player can set????

                                  I didn't say blame the NFL for custom cams I said blame the NFL in direct reply to the "no competition" comment. THe NFL is who decided to allow only one NFL game, not EA.

                                      "Don't care" is just shorthand for "don't care enough to actually do it" which is obviously where we're at with it.

                                      I put it in the same bucket as OL injuries and (previously) formation subs, where they're things that if you compare them one by one to features that made the cut you're not necessarily going to pick the basic features, but in the end they really need to be in for it to be a good game. They're prerequisites, and they just slip through the cracks year after year because they aren't flashy.

                                          Regardless...I would love to see Customizeable CAMS in Madden....its long overdue. Most other sports games have and we should too

                                              Personally speaking, customizable cameras are so low on my wishlist for Madden that they don't even rank.

                                              As to why they aren't there in the first place, it has nothing to do with lazy devs, not wanting to do them, no competition, the NFL, or anything else presented in this thread. It's simply a man-power problem. Tiburon can't make everything people on this site want in nine months, heck in six months actual development time they actually get (the first couple months are pre-production). They have to use the man-hours they do have in the most bang-for-buck way possible, and every last one of them is accounted for.

                                                      Yes, I believe you are being unreasonable. When at any point over the past ten years have enough people wanted custom cameras for it to merit Tiburon addressing the request?

                                                      For example, what would you have rather had this year as an unplanned feature addition - custom cameras or formation subs (which were added in a post-launch title update and are not on the M17 disc by itself)? Tons of people wanted formation subs back for years and it had been one of the most popular wishlist items year after year, meanwhile I see maybe a fleeting 10-post thread about custom cameras once every six months.

                                                      It's strictly a matter of priorities and manpower. Just saying "it should be there, why aren't the devs listening to my specific wishlist?" without any attempt to understand how Tiburon operates and how features get into the game adds nothing productive to the conversation.

                                                          There was at one time a large contingency requesting the "feature"😁 But after years of it being ignored and even people being banned for requesting it, you can understand the wgaf attitude towards the subject after countless failed attempts. I for one find it ridiculous that Madden the premier and only football game doesn't have a custom cam when Madden actually created the feature and standard which other sports games and then some have included. But whatever..jmo
