Atlanta Falcons (3-1) at Denver Broncos (4-0). Let the Lynch era begin.

Paxton Lynch has been named the starter for the Broncos.

    Let's have some fun!

Is Matt Ryan the "First Four Game MVP" of the league so far?

I expect the Broncos to run the ball pretty effectively against Atlanta, I think CJ will get rolling again this week after a couple quiet outings. On paper I feel like it is a friendly matchup for Paxton to get his first start. I think the Falcons only have four sacks, total, on the season so far.

That being said, it's the NFL, so who knows. If Pax gives us something like 250 yards, 1-2 TDs and 1 turnover, I would call that a huge success/best case realistic scenario

My prediction for Pax's first start technically came true but I didn't think it would be due to injury. I feel for Siemian, he's playing very very good football so far this year. I guess it is a good problem to have, two promising young QBs.

I feel like Broncos have two of the best values in the league on defense in Wolfe and Harris Jr. Those guys' contracts compared to other players in their league that they are on the level with seem to be very team friendly.

        Pax definitely looks nervous today.

Ryan is definitely feeling the pressure now after that sack. It will all come down to if Paxton can take advantage of the severe lack of linebackers due to injuries. If the Falcons don't start running the ball again, it doesn't bode well, gotta keep that defense honest.

Also gotta find a way to limit these penalties, they are killing us.

So Lynch sucked in the first half. No doubt about it. Sambrailo and Schofield are getting ate up on our offensive line as well. This reminds me of a bad Oz game from last year.

Our defense has done a decent job with such a fantastic offense.

Just hope the kid can settle down and get some drives going.

That interception was huge. That could completely change the pace of this game. Both defenses have been strong.

We weren't gonna go 16-0. We already won a game we should have lost. It is the NFL, it all balances out during the course of a 16 game season. We will get better from this. Lynch isn't ready but in fairness his line (two guys in particular) are getting destroyed.

I think it's safe to say that there isn't a QB controversy in Denver.

...Atlanta has been impressive as well.

This Denver OL is making the Falcons look like they actually have a competent pass rush. Hell they making the Falcons defense actually look good. Finally one of these rookie qbs are actually looking like a rookie. Falcons offense is looking really good given the defense they are going against. Von Miller has been dominating every snap tho. Blowing up running plays , bothering Ryan every play.

He's been awful. The kid isn't ready. That's ok.

It is just two guys on our line. We have two guys who sucked last year and still suck this year and still find their ways into the starting lineup. I get that Stephenson is hurt but man we have to bolster our o-line.

Khalil Mack all over again. Give me a freaking break.

Elway has done a fantastic job but it's time we invest in our offensive line.

This loss is not Paxton's fault, when your oline makes a rookie QB who hasn't had much time on the field run away from players on the dline, you can not expect a QB to overcome that. That back up RT has literally been dominated by Beasley, it isn't even close. Paxton did not have a good outing but I don't blame him when the oline makes my Falcons look like a top tier defense.
