Injuries are broken in cfm
I am running an offline cfm. I have injuries at 15 because every injury i have seen on my team takes my player out of the game and for multiple weeks. I have yet to see no minor injuries where it would give me the option to let the player come back into the game. This is making it no fun and unrealistic. I wish EA would address this.

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
I get injuries all the time where the guy is ok for the next game. The amount of injuries this year is definitely more in line with what you see in a real game, forces you to spend xp on the INJ trait and make sure your guys aren't playing tired.I am running an offline cfm. Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
I don't mind the amount of injuries its the severity that annoys me. When it pops up a couple plays later saying the injury and who to sub it used to give an option to keep the player in if its not major and I have yet to see that.

Others have mentioned this. I do not know if it has been acknowledged by EA. Certainly, no one has announced a fix forthcoming yet.Comment

Iv'e had a couple give me the option to keep him in the game, but most are at least for the game. I hear Toughness is the stat that helps people get back in the game quicker.Comment

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
The one thing that there needs to be a focus on going forward is off the ball injuries to the OL and other players.
And Clint is very aware of the situation, not sure if it will be addressed.
I'm getting players out for 3 to 4 weeks at a time and asking to come back a game or two earlier in my franchise.Comment

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
Too many players...quality starters at that out throughout the league for 10+ weeks. And while playing, I cringe whenever one of my players is hurt because it's never something minor. I know I've lost him for at least 6 weeks.
Someone posted about this before thinking that this may be tied with the 'big decisions' menu, which wouldn't surprise me. Another problem is that the players are like ragdolls and the tackles are so soft, so their injuries don't necessarily match what's going on the field.Comment

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
I know that I and others have mentioned to John White about the need for more out for the half or out for the game and 1-3 weeks injuries, and fewer 6 plus weeks, breaks and tears injuries. I'm not confident about it getting addressed for 17 though.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
I have inj at 15. I had a 4 week injury, and one injured for the rest of the game. 3 games in Possibly putting it at 20. At 50 every game I would lose 1 player for 6-10 weeks. The one thing that there needs to be a focus on going forward is off the ball injuries to the OL and other players.

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
If you want realism in Madden, then we actually need more injuries, both major and minor. Look at the IR/PUP lists (http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/injured-reserve/) with less than half the season gone by and you'all see teams with 10 or 15 guys out, in addition to the week to week injuries that keep guys out for games or limit their performance. We definitely need off-ball injuries, as the in-game injuries are skewed towards skill position players on offense as there is no real way for a lineman to get hurt. Football is a violent game with a ton of player injuries both severe and minor, and the Madden CFM experience should reflect that.Comment

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
10 weeks is about right. Maybe 8 would be more realistic.

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
In my 2nd game of the season I actually had Rodgers-Cromartie go down with a chance to return....
I thought either I or Madden was sick....

Re: Injuries are broken in cfm
outside of the no OL injuries when you're playing, i feel, the amount feels about right on the 50 slider mark. some years i get a dozen with guys having to go on the IR. some years i get one or two.I am running an offline cfm.
