Subtle awesome things about PES [HELP]

So, this is my first year buying PES and I absolutely love it. I'm in March in my first ML with Spurs using --- i don't even know who's OF.

So many little things suck me into each game. And I'm wondering if some of the old PES heads can explain how to do little things like:

Can you run into the goal and kick/pick up ball after scoring or is this contextual?

Is there a control to pull off ball rolls or are they too contextual.

Can I edit a random dude I've called up from Youth Academy and change his say...boots?

I'm willing to bet there are several things that older players know how to do in-game that aren't explicitly written out.

If I figure anything out I'll chime in.

With the youth team, you can change it in the edit mode. The starting youth team players are all in the OTHER category in that. The rest of the players after a few seasons will be regenerated retired players. You can just edit them from the team they are in for your master league save. Though it does make playing a local game a bit weird when you and mates are playing with loads of weirdly edited players. (Example, I got a regen James Collins and renamed him to C. Jarvis to keep things fresh. if you played West ham locally after that, it would be confusing to see james collins be called jarvis all game, despite looking exactly like him)
Picking up ball post goal you just have to control the celebration and run him into the goal.

You can kick the ball after scoring, but I don't think you can pick it up.

I think it might depend if you're losing at the time. The player will rush to collect the ball from the net.

I played a game yesterday where I was down 3-1. I got the 3-2 goal around the 75th minute and my players ran into the goal to collect the ball, so it definitely happens and depends on time and situation.

Every time I aim my player towards the ball after a goal it cues the animation to pick up the ball, regardless of the score/situation. That's pretty much all you have to do.
