Need BW Webb and Lasco on the Saints. Glad to see Mike Thomas getting his props. Also Peat is our LG and playing pretty well. Check his PFF scores.

Why? Just why? Everytime someone getstraded to the Browns there ovr goes down every single time. It's happened for as long as u can remember. I remember Patterson the CB for the Eagles went to Cleveland and went from a 78 to a 71. Just cause Collins gets traded from the Pats he goes down 2 ovr?? Makes NO sense.

Could someone explain why the ratings differ between Play Now and Franchise? When I say why I don't mean explaining that the roster guru tunes play now/online rosters differently, what I mean is why are the team OVRs so drastically different from Play Now and Franchise? For example, the Cardinals (despite having No. 4 defense in the NFL by DVOA) now have a worse defense than the Raiders who you don't even need advanced statistics to tell you have a very bad defense. The team you would expect to be similar to the Raiders, the Falcons, have a defense 8 OVR points lower. According to the franchise mode's calculations, the Raiders have a defense as good as the Texans, Chiefs, Ravens, and Panthers. A more stark difference is that the Vikings were shown as a 90 OVR team in Play Now but are an 81 OVR in franchise mode. It doesn't make sense that a team would be worse in Franchise than in Play Now by 9 points. To relate this to this particular update, the Cardinals went down 2 points in defensive OVR in Franchise mode but the Raiders stayed the same. Either they calculate OVR differently between Play Now and Franchise (perhaps scheme settings are being taken into account, but why would they before you even have a coach or player or owner selected?) or one of the numbers for total OVR is fake. While OVR in the end doesn't really matter (Took the 75 OVR Bears against the 86 OVR Packers, beat them 38-10 with the only Packer TD being a pick six,) considering OVR influences Franchise things like salary, depth chart (it shouldn't) and trades, that it is inconsistent is an obstacle when it comes to Franchise mode. I also don't understand how the Cardinals are tied for 12th in defensive OVR and the Patriots are tied for 3rd in defensive OVR after this update. |

I'm a little bit curious as to why Joe thomas keeps getting his overall lowered. Every ware I look shows that he's having a great season. Only 1 sack given up and 1 penalty.. just seems odd
