    2k17 Controller Lag

so i play myteam mostly and while i experience some lag, i dont know what happened between friday and sunday around about 7pm but i can barely play online now. i asked a few guys who said they had this issue since a week or two ago. so i wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this now. the lag im getting is not just like maybe my controller feels slow, im talking lag like i was driving to the basket and pressed the shot stick up for a dunk and i kept running until i was under the rim and did that weird leaning layup. really bad. also are you guys are experiencing this with other titles? as i think its a playstation issue and not 2k necessarily.

2k online has it's "days", and the shot stick for layups has never been trustworthy, even last year. A lot of times, I would just run straight out of bounds too.

The animation I'm most frustrated with is the "clown eurostep" where your guy takes 2 wild random steps not even towards the basket with the ball and just flings the ball out of bounds.

yea thats true but the lag im getting all the sudden is worse than that. i get that clown eurostep when im running at the rim and press the button for pass icons, press and icon and he launches the ball right out of bounds.

          Re: 2k17 Controller Lag

It's especially bad in MyTeam Blacktop, and for some inexplicable reason, not as bad in MyTeam Online games. But I've even experienced what seems to me to be controller input lag in offline games as well.

For online games, especially in Blacktop, what I get most is trying to drive and dish, with the pass command not registering and, instead, my guy just running out of bounds. I believe there are other times when I have at least one command input that I very quickly follow with a pass, and the pass is not performed.

For offline games, the problem I occasionally experience comes when I try to pass and then quickly try to pump-fake. Possibly am tapping the shoot button before the pass is received. But instead of doing nothing, what happens is that my guy receives the pass and immediately launches a shot that is released when the shot meter is around or less than halfway full, and thus a total brick.

So it's very weird: the former seems to be a problem that results when commands might get input into a buffer and not execute, or there not being a command buffer. And the latter seems to be a problem with commands going into buffer, with last command actuating as if one held down the button and didn't let go.
