Re: Little live 17 interview
Another year and another team....
There's simply no stability with this franchise and it shows on the court doing gameplay.
It's good they are finally dedicated to working on animations after almost a decade of sub par animations but i think at this point animations alone ust won't cut it now....
They need a huge upgrade in gameplay and editing options before the mass majority take This series serious again.....of course they will get usual small contingent that will settle on anything they release but sales totals will speak for us..

Re: Little live 17 interview
They said early 2017 and I think they'll release it then. I figure they'll release it and won't release a game next September/October because going head to head with 2k isn't wise, and they'll patch the game all the way through next bball season, and release live 19 in 2018 after the franchise has earned some credibility (hopefully lol).Comment

Re: Little live 17 interview
16 was (and still is) a good game.
It certainly has a base to work from and make great imo.
No need to start from scratch, so I hope they haven't done so again.Comment

Re: Little live 17 interview
FYI the yellow tab on the cartridge was just plastic, no chip at all except for the actual board in the cartridge.... Sorry to burst your bubbleOriginally posted by SirGaryColemanI think they should take a look back at what made them great in the past.
Being able to create an NBA player on Sega Genesis (with that little Yellow chip on the cartridge) was technologically innovative.
We need to see more new tech.
I'd love to see Dynamic Commentary that has Commentators dynamically changing what they say based on my personal game progress/stats (whether they be stats of my NBA career or ProAm/Online).
I'm not talking about stats during the game or the previous game, but my entire backlog of stats. This has NEVER been done in any NBA game. This is something I had been anticipating since Live 96 and now that we're so advanced with tech, this should be do-able.
lol.
There are some really good reads about the square carts and yellow tab that explains how EA stuck it to Sega and made millions in the process though.
Regardless of all this EA needs to get back to basketball and having fun playing it. Just like football games need to get back to being more like Tecmo Super Bowl. I also predict an All Star game release window if this game truly does come out. It's 'Sconnie not wiscy!!!!!Comment

Re: Little live 17 interview
My expectations are this game will look gorgeous and play average [not a gameplay innovator or crap buggy/laggy ]. Also, I'm thinking they are going to try and go all out for the online portion of the game [pro-am, some sort of park/blacktop, and of of course, ultimate team] and neglect offline dynasty. Another barebones version. I have zero hope for anything remotely close to MyLeague or MyGM in terms of customization, importing draft classes, coaching staff etc. I would like some info though.
I'm thinking an All-Star weekend release? Tons of promotion leading up to it in a week or two maybe?Comment

Re: Little live 17 interview
No disrespect, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Most of the team is intact, following through on the visions they've had. Mahar is a newer addition, working alongside Obs, and bringing some excellent ideas and how to get there. Obs is definitely still there, Santos, Connor, etc. But bringing in additional guys and manpower from other extremely successful titles should never be frowned upon.Another year and another team....

WTF above mentioned in this thread that info is coming out "semi-soon" so I'm going to take that as sometime near the end of this month. The anticipation further increases!'Long time reader, first time poster'

Re: Little live 17 interview
I'd honestly ask that you do try whatever they release, if nothing more than to give feedback. The more feedback I have, the better we can voice what works/doesnt. Refraining from playing won't help 18.I'm NOT counting on ANY release until September/October. In fact, I WILL NOT EVEN DOWNLOAD a release until then

Re: Little live 17 interview
I'm definitely looking forward to a full game release still enjoying 16 when I do play, and I've heard people say 17 should be good or whatever it is they plan on releasing, so I'm patiently waiting and if it's a upgrade from 16 I'm sure it won't be disappointing. HOPEFULLY WE GET THE ABILITY TO EDIT THIS YEAR!

Re: Little live 17 interview
I'll probably end up trying whatever they release for this reason alone. My son wanted NBA Live 17 for Christmas because he enjoyed 16, and I had to tell him NBA 2K17 was his only option before Christmas. I bought him 2K, and he just didn't have very much fun with it. I didn't play it, so I can't judge it. That being said, I've never found myself to be a fan of the NBA 2K series. I've never had very much fun playing it for whatever reason. To each his/her own I guess.
So I'll be waiting for more news on NBA Live 17. I know the series has had PLENTY of issues the the last several years, but I've always enjoyed the games more than the competition.Comment
