Seems like the tight ends catch everything i want the recievers to have more catches then tight ends

I believe it's caused by the poor coverage attributes of linebackers in general. You can call plays that keep them in to block more to even it out somewhat.

Also on passing downs, don't call plays where a LB is covering a TE, unless your LB is a coverage stud. NFL teams don't rely on average LBs to cover athletic TEs. That's why they're matchup nightmares.

I've also noticed this and I'm not sure how to fix this consistently

This has been an issue in madden for a while. TE are targeted way to often. and they usually get more catches than WR1.

It's difficult to enjoy Madden because of this issue.

I completely agree. No matter what I've tried, the TE and RB always have more catches than the WR's. Only solution I've found is to change the playbook to Run And Shoot to remove the TE completely. But then, a new problem emerges, the WR3 and WR4 end up getting more receptions than WR1 and WR2. The passes are always less than 10 yards unless someone is completely wide open downfield. I'm really out of ideas on how to fix this issue and would love to hear if anyone has any suggestions.
