There's a gif on reddit where the ball is on the rim and it's about to roll only to get stopped by some invisible wall and roll back out. I can't find it at the moment but got me thinking about that come back code that's been mentioned through the years. |
Re: Ball Changing Directions Mid-Air
I've noticed this so much this year it's not even funny. I noticed it last year too but significantly less. However, I have yet to see something to the extent of this happening in 2K17.
This is something that needs to go... seriously. EDIT: Quote:

Re: Ball Changing Directions Mid-Air
Look at the amount of shots that the cpu has rattle around the rim and fall in versus the amount thay you have rattle around and fall in. For me its like 10 to 1. Its hard to say that "some" of the stuff that happens in a game is not predetermined when the ball always seems to roll or bounce a certain way. Same thing with loose balls, tipped balls and blocked shots.

Re: Ball Changing Directions Mid-Air
Those are highly discussed scripted situations where user is simply not allowed to have XY lead against CPU with XX:XX time left on the clock. Happens with blocks, rebounds, weird bounces and what not.

Re: Ball Changing Directions Mid-Air
In general I feel like there have been quite a few impossible bounces on the rim in my games. I did not look too closely in fear of throwing my controller out of the window...
