Madden is going to suprise a lot of people..
 

ESPN got all the hype this year. They released early, low price, new VIP, etc.

Wouldn't it be great if Madden came in as the underdog this year and ended up being the better game? I think it just might.

There are so many little things Madden gets right. You can always count on their simulated stats being dead-on with real NFL simmed games as far as league leaders, etc.

I am very curious regarding how this battle will turn out. Any thoughts?

only thing madden will be better at is franchise depth(and hopefully less bugs )

WHo cares about underdogs, etc. Just hope they made the game good and we don't have to read 1000 posts about all these gamekillers etc.

Madden's going to be the better game, almost certainly. ESPN does a couple of things really well, a few more aspects are solid, but by and large it lacks polish.

ESPN 2K5 stacks up better against Madden 2004 than it will against Madden 2005.

So you've played Madden 2005? How is it?

For the last time ESPN and Madden are 2 totally different games. Each has a place.....

Yes, I agree...ESPN has definitely MASTERED a few aspects of the game (presentation and animations), but for some reasons Madden always appears to be the game of choice by most...I just don't know enough people that are willing to play as often as Madden.
