Madden 17 running with the pop up directions issue.

Ok I don't mind the pop up things telling you do juke here or spin here but What I don't like is that fact If you want to do something else it still automatically makes you jike and spin.For example right now I am doing a tribute video for Randall Cunningham and When scrambling I want do do some hurdles but I rarely get the hurdle to work only because when I need to hurdle at the right moment I get the do juke here or spin and it makes me do those even when I hit the hurdle button. So If I want to hurdle I have to hit the button early which usually messes up the hurdle. I am also having trouble getting my guy to do the hurdles or diving over the pile at the goaline because of this. Any suggestions? I also wish they had hall of fame players again It would make doing tributes a lot better using players that actually look like who you are doing the tributes for.

I see this issue occasionally where a break tackle animation might override my input. But you usually have to hit it in advance so that the defender miss tackle animation occurs.

Well this is what happens to me. If I don't hit any buttons at all it will still do what it says to do. Like in my last game I broke a huge run I get about 20 yards down field and I see the Safety coming up at me and before I even am able to hit any button because the defender was well away from me the spin Icon came up and even though I did not even touch the circle button my dude dose the spin anyway and since the guy was to far away I get tackled. I then break a run and am free and clear heading for the endzone. I see a safety in the endzone and think hey good place to do a hurdle over a player at the goalline but just as I go to hit the Triangle the spin Icon pops up and it forces my guy to spin which of course causes me to get tackled because my guy's spin goes backwards away from the goalline about 3 yards. I don't want the CPU to dictate what I do, I don't mind the option to do something different but I want to choose what I do.

Do you have the moves setting set on manual, assist or auto?

I have no idea did not know there was a settings I can change. I did a quick look through trying to check but never saw any setting for moves. I will check a bit better and see what I can find

Ok I found the settings and changed it. Only the problem now is something else is going on. Ever since I changed it anytime I am not scrambling and just running the ball with my qb I can't do anything. Every pass will be dropped or picked off. I'm not sure what is going on I just had a game where I went 4 for 20 with 4 INT's and my receivers dropped every pass even wide open passes and the 4 caught balls were RB Screen but he never made it out of the backfield on any of the catches. Then my next game almost just as bad even after I adjusted sliders to help keep the Dline off my QB because every snap my Oline was not blocking and I got sacked 10 times the first game and then 15 the second. I really have no idea what the heck is going on.

Weird. Are you holding down the sprint button. When you hold sprint blockers do not block. It should only be used when preventing being caught from behind is more important than blocking ahead of you.

No only Hold the sprint when I'm about to scramble with the qb. I changed the automatic move thing back to auto and now my game works fine again. All my receivers are catching and doing what they should soand I only get sacked on plays where I should be getting sacked as well so not sure what is going on.
