Is there a difference in perimeter "makes" with Shot-Stick vs Button?
I'm doing a project where i'm alternating each input method for a half....but i'd like to see what the Community is noticing as well...are you guys seeing a difference?NOTE: Any and ALL of my suggestions are specifically and only related to Play Now Online.Tags: None -
Re: Is there a difference in perimeter "makes" with Shot-Stick vs Button?
The game give you a boost in the make percentage on a shot of you use the shot stick but only if you aim it correctly if you are off by more than ~10 degrees in your aim you actually get a penalty and ~15 degrees is a severe penalty. The button now I believe is neither a boost nor a punishment I believe a few patches ago it actually gave you a penalty for using the button opposed to the stuck but that was changed to be neutral after poor community response to it.

I've made comments on this before, but I'll share them here. Personally, I've been mostly a shot stick. However, I've switched to the button for jumpsuits this year, because I can't get the hang of the aiming consistently. It's probably more about thumb placement than anything else, but I can't push straight down that well. It's so weird to focus on it when I've played sooooooo many games where it's never been a penalty. It was out frustration for why I switched to the button. Honestly, I hope that they remove it or give us option on whether or not to use it.Comment

You can also aim to the left right or up. I find it to be more comfortable and accurate for me than downI've made comments on this before, but I'll share them here. I have great connection but i dont trust the latency input online ..shot stick gives you a penalty for inaccuracy.Comment

A lot of people feel like that...what team do you use? How is your outside shooting using the button?Last edited by Kushmir; 12-05-2016, 11:35 AM.NOTE: Any and ALL of my suggestions are specifically and only related to Play Now Online.Comment

I used the shot stick the 1st week after the game released. I couldn't get used to it so I went back to the button and I haven't missed a beat lol. It definitely is not worth it imo.Comment

I can totally understand that. Over the holidays is when I play offline games. But watching my cousins shoot lights vs me (they were using the button). And they were making so many jumpers. It made me think why the **** am I using the stick if they are hitting shots all day. After that night it seriously made me consider using the button.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

You can miss a green aim but you won't miss a green release so I go with the shot button.
You could get a 95-99% full white meter with a perfect aim and still miss so I don't see the value in using the stick.
