    Lockdown Defender Question

I recently created a 6'10" PF lockdown defender. I have 2 sf lockdown defenders and every archetype except playmaker and shot creator. With that said how many blocks does it take to get hof rim protector (I'm guessing between 200-300) and what's the easiest method to accumulate massive blocks at a fast rate? I currently have exactly 150 total blocks.

    use the defensive stopper trick.

throw a backwards lob when you pass half court .
    let your opponent get it
bait him to come get blocked

block him. this is also how you get chase down artist

Thanks thats what I was thinking didn't want to have my turnovers at an astronomical level but it looks like I have no choice lol. By the way all my badges are hof except for rim protector.

Its supposed to be around 300 but i got it on 237 which was weird as it didnt display the 'hall of fame badge earned popup', one thing i noticed is you are far more likely to get blocks if you are playing at center instead of power forward. If possible try to get traded to a team that has a higher rated(and shorter?) power forward as you should start at center. The warriors would probably be the best option.

I made him 250lbs. But at 6'10" I think 220-240 would be optimal.

Ok thanks I was only able to play 2 mycareer games today had to get my sleep and come back in to work again tonight, but I am sitting at 182 blocks. Tomorrow I'm going to make the push to at least 220 then get it out of the way completely by Sunday.

no shot to you at all, but this is why i hate the badges system as it is.

I shouldnt be disadvantaged because some jabroni has the time to spam this move against the CPU on rookie over and over again.

Really wish they made badges for park separate from mycareer. It would be better if these were earned during actual gameplay against humans. They would mean more.

I get that there's no way around this now, but hoping it is something they are looking at for the future. When i think about it, it probably wont happen, because theres more money to be made in VC if people build up multiple characters. There has to be some kind of middle ground.

I feel you, but you do realize that some badges would literally be impossible to unlock if forced to go up against humans to get them, right?

Yea, some would have to be reworked for sure. I would be fine with a reduction in the requirement or eliminating some altogether if they had to be earned against humans.

Thanks for your responses but the badge unlocked for me at 240 blocks and it didn't unlock in game, I checked my inventory to see where to allocate my last skill point and noticed all purples at the bottom when rim protector should have been gold lol

I'm a 6'2 Lockdown defender PG, for me the best way to get blocks is leave my guy open while trailing close, then once he gets the ball run and get the block. This may result in some fouls but it will save turnovers when you lob from half court.

I was getting a ton of blocks by sagging heavily and then running back fast to the guy I was guarding and managing to get there right when the shot is about to release from hands or doing a gather for a layup/dunk.

If you plan on any front court play I recommend maxed strength . It makes a huge difference
