    Tips for rebuilding Sacramento Kings

I'm been a Kings fan since they had Bibby,Weber,Divac,Bobby Jackson. I want to bring the kings back the ashes, just like my Raiders.
Any tips for rebuilding them will be very helpful.
Looking to build around Boogie with shooters, like the Magic with Dwight.

I think almost any rebuild would involve trading boogie away... but depending how you use the rosters.... imo bosh is a free agent wanting to play still.... so I sign him as a free agent (I keep him at about 28 mpg...to pretend...his real life heath issue is in the game) ...but add him with boogie...is a great start.....sign ray Allen if you want a shooter...and go from there!

Tank one season and draft a nice point guard with high potential. Or trade boogie for picks or young stars (lakers)

Yes but he's under contract until at least February 9th when Miami can apply to have his contract removed from their books due to career ending injury

I would start by trading Rudy Gay and Kosta Koufos, Rudy is a FA at the end of the year and Kosta is making too much $ and you already have plenty of backup centers. I would try and acquire as much good young talent as possible at all of those other positions. The team will probably be terrible that 1st year, but you will get a high pick as a result. Plus you will have a ton of cap space in the offseason to make a run at a nice free agent or 2.

                Based on what you're trying to do;

                - Trade everyone who isn't a center and can't shoot.

                - Trade picks if you're not looking to build through the draft.

                - Veteran shooters will be easier to get than young bucks, go for "win now". Korver and such.

                - Play it smart in free agency, make sure you have cap space and don't worry too much about non-essential staff.

Trade Rudy Gay for Brandon Knight
                  Trade WCS for Mirotic
                  Sign Lance Stephenson FA

                  Collison-Knight-Stephenson-Mirotic-Cousins

Not the best off the top of my head, but if you play a few games could make the the playoffs.

Keep Demarcus, you can win with him. (Ps Kings fan since the "greatest show on court" living in sac so first off, I'm sorry and I feel your pain that is being #SacramentoProud haha) in my first year I was offered Paul mill sap for Rudy Gay and I took it cuz Rudy wants dang near max deal in the off season and I'd rather give that to millsap. Try to sign Dennis Schroeder in the offseason and fill out the rest of the team with as many shooters as you can. I've done a decent job of stockpiling picks and trading top picks for 2 future first rounders. Draft well and that's your best chance of getting good. I drafted Svi Matalualuk or whatever his name is from Kansas in order to start my shooting squad surrounding Boogie. (Did that using EmbraceThaPace's draft class for 2017)

                          Trade DeMarcus Cousins.

No, seriously--I recently started a new MyGM with them, put DeMarcus into the Trade Finder, and (since I started in the offseason) saw the Sixers offering BOTH their first-rounders for him, which thanks to the lotto, ended up falling #3 and #4.

The first two picks were Buddy Hield and Jamal Murray.
I took Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram.

This is an incredibly stupid trade.
It's also exactly the sort of thing the Sixers would do, because MUH ASSETS! #TrustTheProcess

I started a save with the Kings recently. I tried to get rid of Cousins but couldn't get anything I liked so I went with the same strategy you are thinking.

With the 6th pick in the draft I picked up a nice PG that can light it up from deep but he is a horrible defender.

In FA I picked up Caldwell-Pope to start at SG. Then I signed McDermott and Snell to come off the bench.

Plenty of shooters to create space for Cousins. I haven't been able to start the season yet but will soon.

Preseason Power Rankings have us 6th in the West.
