    Need help stopping a transfer!

Just finished my season and my stud gem freshman redshirt QB -78- wants to transfer! Persuasion is LOW. Since I save the file at the EOY I made him a couple of different promises and nothing.

Playing time is the issue but he is RS and has 3 QBs ahead of him who are all 72-73. To move him up I need to burn the RS - and that might make a difference but I don't want to do that.

Can't change positions for QBs to clear space on depth so I'm super choked. The guy is gonna start for 4 years straight and PT is an issue??

I know the CPU logic doesn't see it that way, so anyone have ideas on how to "cheat" this?

    Thanks in advance!!

Well if you really do wanna cheat the system (and I'll go on record saying it's cheap as hell and I don't do it) do this:

This will be the first time I've "cheated" in over 60 seasons of dynasty, so I don't see it as cheap when playing time is going to be an issue for a guy who is going to start for 4 years.

The CPU logic is flawed because it's reading the depth chart - where's he's on the bottom because he's being redshirted.

Lol - do I feel like I'm cheating? A little but I can justify it by asking myself this question - what would happen in real life?

The issue is that you're taking advantage of this while the other 125 teams are unable to do this so they have to lose their guys to transfer, just like you would've.

EDIT: User teams already have sooooooooo many advantages in this game that we really don't need another, particularly one that theCPU teams can't use.

Why was he not starting in the first place? I try not to red shirt guys that are that good. Was he a five star? Just curious.

Yeah I would have redshirted him too, but I like the fact that he wanted to bolt. Maybe he wasn't sure if his coaches believed in him for the next season. I say let him go and grind it out with your other qbs like some teams have to do in real life.

Interesting, there is no promise to start next year?

Also I was wondering if a guy is not redshirted but he never sees the field will the games logic give him a redshirt status at the end of the year for you?
Example: A 58 overall freshman is sitting at the #8 CB position. You never redshirt him and next year he is listed as F(rs), because he never got in a game.

Promised him 500 pass attempts. 9 games started etc...nothing.

There was no Heisman, Draft etc options

                      WINSTON-SALEM (AP) -

The Wake Forest football program announced today that QB Charlie Cody (RS; Savannah, TN) has chosen to transfer to the University of Virginia.

Despite the efforts of Coach Duane, who praised Cody as a real gem of a find and promised him the starting quarterback position, Cody has decided to pursue playing time at Virginia.

There were rumours that the Deacons may have violated NCAA rules in an effort to keep Cody from leaving but that was put to rest by Wake Forest AD J. Ello.

"We have complied fully with all NCAA regulations and welcome any investigation into any improprieties. We have nothing to hide," stated Ello.

Time to imagine a little role playing. He said he wants out for playing time, but he's still just a kid, and kids lie. In reality, he had a disagreement with the QB's coach, his roommate in the dorms cooked steamed broccoli 2-4 times per day, and he didn't like your HC's mustache. Time for one of those sophomores to step it up.

(Stole the broccoli story from my time in college.)

Your mention of the HC's mustache made me think of this awesome photo I saw of Bret Bielema. He was in some list of CFB coaches and he was talking to one of his players. I don't know who the dude is, but he was the most marvelous mustache I've ever seen inside a football helmet!
