Reading the comments in the 1.08 Patch Notes thread, I saw Da_Czar make this comment:
"As a community you guys should start a thread and hash this out and boil it down to exactly what you want to see. Then lobby for that specifically.
Was tiers what you really wanted ? Was it better without tiers ? etc etc. IMHO of course."

I'll start it off with my views, but obviously, everyone's input is required in order to make this the constructive thread that could hopefully lead to the changes we, as a community want to see.
Personally, I like the tier system and think it should remain, albeit with very simple tweaks.
The biggest concern, is that we are so often being forced to play against the same team as the one selected. This should not happen at all. There must be a simple block for playing the same team as your own.
I even choose unpopular teams at times, but then have to wait for a match for minutes on end, and more often than not, do not get matched with someone.
I would like to be able to select which tiers I am looking to play against.
So if I choose a Tier 4 team, I would like the option of choosing to play a team in Tier 2, 3 and 5, and omit teams from Tier 1 and 4. This would diversify the challenge, and could be helpful when looking for those bonus wins.
The other tweak, that is so important to me, is to have a simple home/away uniform lock. If you are the home team, you can only select from your teams collection of home uniforms, and vice versa, for away teams.
This should stop the same colour uniform cheese that also makes playing Play Now Online a bit of a pain.
Another tweak would be the simple option to back out of a matchup with no penalty at the uniform select screen.
My final tweak, would be to allow us to save, within Play Now Online, a lineup and coach settings so we don't have to constantly make a bunch of tweaks before playing the game.
