"Detroit Bad Boys": NBA 2K17 Detroit Pistons MyLeague
New Ownership Brings Championship Change October 1, 2016: Davon A. Brown is now 100 percent owner of the Detroit Pistons and he wasted no time making his mark. Stan Van Gundy's role has been reduced from Coach/GM/President to just a coach as Mr. Brown himself will now be in control of all front office moves. Here's what Davon Brown had to say when asked about his vision for the team: "I grew up reading about to the '89/'90 Bad Boy Pistons and watching the '04 squad so I know what championship basketball looks like in the motor city. Last year we took the first step in returning to glory by ending our playoff drought and I am honored to take the lead as we continue to march toward greatness. I'm also thrilled to announce that we will officially be playing all home games in Downtown Detroit starting next season" Disclamer: I simulated to current day (February 6, 2017) and rosters/injuries are updated to reflect real life. I do most of my gaming on the weekends, but I'll squeeze a few in on weekdays. Roster/Draft Class/Settings/Sliders: SimWorld |

Joel Embiid Dominant in 76ers Win February 6th, 2017: It was clash of the titans on the block with Drummond battling Embiid, but things went left for the Pistons once Drummond fouled out early in the fourth quarter. |

Reggie Jackson Buzzer-Beater Seals Back and Forth Game Against A Youthful Laker Team February 8, 2017: The Pistons scored 66 points in the paint and got big games from Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson, but still needed late-game heroics to walk away with the victory. The team is currently 1.5 games behind Philadelphia for the eighth and final playoff spot, but desperately need to acquire more three-point shooting (30th in 3PT%) at the deadline if they plan to compete with the likes of Cleveland and Toronto. Who should they target via trade or free-agency? <iframe frameborder=0 webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen scale="tofit" width="640" height="365" style="max-width:100%" src="http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Davon%20A%20Brown/video/26841828/embed"></iframe> http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Davon%20A%2...video/26841828 |

Pistons Run Gasol-less Spurs Out of Town As They Begin to Gel Before the All-Star Break February 10, 2017: The Pistons jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back. Boban Marjanovic saw big minutes for the first time this season and capitalized against his former team with 8 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assist, 1 steal, and 5 blocks in 18 minutes. The guy who he backs ups tallied 22 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assist, and 3 blocks in 30 minutes. Sitting one game behind the 8th seed with two games remaining before the trade deadline it is still unclear which direction this team is headed, but we will soon see. Stan Van Gundy was recently quoted saying "Every player is available for the right price". |
