Anyone else hoping they fix the Legacy standings for M18?

I mean come on,

I am in year 2027 as Mike Tomlin, currently his stats are
9 Championships, 5 Superbowls

Sean Payton is ahead of him in the rankings though with
2 Championships, 1 Superbowl...

For players such as QB's it seems to be slightly more realistic as my QB who has more accomplishments than Brady is #1. However Coaches it is definitely broken.

I just do not understand this.

It makes no sense to me at all. Thte Legacy System is very flawed.

I think it is time madden makes the Hall of Fame legit, and have an actual Legacy System where you can compete with other players for a spot in the Hall of Fame.

You earn legacy points through:
Stats
Wins
Awards
Championships
Career Length
Standings in all-time stat list (Most receptions, touchdowns, rushing yards...)
Etc, etc....

I not only want to build a team that wins a Super Bowl, but I want to help players be the best. I want my quarterback chasing Tom Brady and Joe Montana. I want my running backs breaking Emmitt Smith and Adrian Petersons' records, I want my receivers chasing Jerry Rice.

I want to see and all-time legacy list that ranks each player, and it should look something like this. (I'll use RB's as an example with made up points)

1. Emmitt Smith LP 29,433
2. Walter Payton LP 25,672
3. RB#32 Browns LP 22,338
4. Barry Sanders LP 22,299
5. Marshall Faulk LP 20,855
6. Marcus Allen LP 19,121

7. Adrian Peterson LP 19,018
8. Ladanian Tomlinson LP 19,002
9. OJ Simpson LP 18,671
10. Curtis Martin LP 18,500
11. Franco Harris LP 18,444
12. Earl Campbell LP 17,726

....
31. Gale Sayers LP 9,121
....
90. Bo Jackson LP 5,434
91. Corey Dillon LP 5,132
92. Larry Johnson LP 5,003

Retired Hall Of Fame

Either way, you get the idea. As opposed to just a top 10 for certain statistics, lets see in depth stat/ award tracking. And lets see a legit list of players stacked up with each other compared to all their career accomplishments.

For sure, better career stat tracking. I have never had a football conversation about legacy scores so don't really care about that other than knowing 10,000 gets you in the hall of fame. It would be nice to see lists by a couple people of who is on their all time lists. For example, in your list emmitt smith is all time legacy leader because obviously he has the record and the bowls. Not many people would say he is the goat though. In my opinion barry sanders was much better and would have shattered that record if it was important to him. That is opinion of course and that is what people give.

That is the only problem with the legacy. There are factors that will not be considered. Things such as:
Talent around that player
Playing Style
Quality of team
Career length
Overall Talent

Some could argue that Gale Sayers or Bo Jackson are some of the greatest running backs of all-time, but due to injuries, we will never know. In my opinion Walter Payton, Jim Brown, and Barry Sanders are by far the top 3 best running backs in NFL history.

However, a legacy would track what the player actually accomplished through measurables (Not sure if that is a word, but I am working with it).

Yeah, the Legacy system is just absolute garbage pretty much. I would rather them take out the HoF and Legacy systems if they are going to be as much of an afterthought as EA makes them out to be the last few years.

I'd rather them replace it with all-time stats leaderboards capped at Top 50/100 and a Super Bowl history. If they included those things I'd be a lot more immersed than I am by the Legacy/HoF systems.

My problem with it is in the Owner CFM. You start out THOUSANDS of points behind Owners who've never even made the playoffs.

I don't get it.

I have won 8 SBs as HC.

I'm not even half way to Maddens 10,000.

I'm 4th. Behind Jason Garrett. And Gus Bradley.

Neither of them have even been to a SB.

I think it helps if your coach gets a video game endorsement. I believe it is worth about 6,000 points.
