NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
Is anyone else worried that the EA Suits split up the development team to work on NBA live 17 mobile and that may have contributed to the cancellation of the console version. My belief is they're understaffed on console and that they needed a 2yr cycle to put out a game that results in a full years worth of content. With the success of NBA Live Mobile it undermined the release of a console version.Tags: None -
Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
I think "being worried" about NBA Live has been a permanent mode since the cancellation of NBA Elite 11. So, I'm not worried more than 'normal'. And I'd rather them work on the game 2 years than 1 year. Assuming this is not like NBA Live 12/13, we should have a game in the Fall.
How well it will play, remains to be seen.My Specs:
ZX Spectrum
CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASIC -
Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
I'm pretty optimistic about it actually in one case I'm worried due to the letdowns but in another I'm hopeful. There's a dude on YouTube who claims to be a gamechanger and proclaims they're womens teams on NBA Live so I'm ecstatic about that news.Comment

Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
We looking for some Sim gaming enough of this arcade pick up and play crap where all I got to do is spam the controller and I'm in the lane jamming on some dude. Basketball isn't about that it take's great skill and patience, reading the defenders hips and footwork and seeing what the other defenders on the floor are up to. They need that badly if they expect to be a competitor.Comment

Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
They seriously need to be innovative I'm talking a grand theft auto style career mode where you could drive around to your home or to the home arena. Have a cell phone a laptop for on the go and a computer for home. Have minigames at your house like a pool table stuff like that. Also a barbershop you could drive to. Different venues in the community maybe walking distance like movie theaters with movies included in game, a gym to work out to build muscle or get lean and ripped or have film study breaking down your opponent on film for the upcoming game, basically stuff like thatComment

Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
Here's a basic version of my idea.
Create your Crib in RisingStar and make it interactive - A Door: to play your next game - A Computer: is your NBA .com - A Closet: is your edit player - A Television: could be your highlight or recap of the week in the NBA - A Bed: where you can simulate to the next day - A GYM: where you can edit and assign your skill points and do drills - A Shrine: as you complete milestones and win awards - A Phone: so you can contact your teammates, your coach and agent - Mini games: like playing pool, poker that you can play in your spare timeLast edited by Crunky; 02-26-2017, 02:14 AM.Comment

Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
NBA Live needs to go over the top with Park Mode, let this be the arcade mode to the NBA Live version SIM mode. So the casual gamers can enjoy themselves online on a pick up friendly mode while the big boys play their skilled SIM version of gameplay.Comment

Re: NBA Live 18 Are You Worried
How about they give us the same graphics as the NBA Elite 11 opening video (with Durant dunking)? Either way, graphics are not a concern, this will probably their biggest strength. My Specs:
