    Last Gen Show Purchase

I am spending a lot of time on the weekends at my girlfriend's house these days and I'm moving my ps3 there. I was shocked to find I don't have a back copy of the Show for it.

What is a good year to pick up? I don't care about features, it will just be for play now fix in the evening or early morning (she can sure sleep). 13 and 14 seem readily available at gamestop. Any reason to favor 13 or is 14 a solid entry?

Think I saw mlb 16 for 14.99 at best buy.

But is 16 the best version? I'm also interested in the same thing. I haven't played since 12 but would like something to play a game here and there.

Not only is 16 enormously better you can download rosters from the rosters vault.

          Last year's is the best....

If you're planning on playing every once in awhile, IMO there's nothing better than putting together a solid squad of Diamond Dynasty for Conquest...

Once you get into it and put together a good squad, you'll love it....

I have always liked RTTS, but find myself continuously going back to the DD:C mode because of the ability to tailor my roster the way I want to and the ability for strategy and playing several games in a short amount of time....

Just one tip: when building a DD:C roster, I chose to keep cards in my depth chart that have strong platoon splits because it really helps in the shortened games.
--If you need it, you don't have it. If you have it you don't need it. But if you need and you don't have it, you want it. If you don't have any of it, then you really don't know how to get more of it to get started then anyways now do you? --

If you don't mind playing with old rosters I would stick with MLB 12 as since then they have messed about with the pitch speed and hit timing windows way too much for my liking.

For me 13-16 are all pretty much similar, so it will depend on your budget, roster interests etc as to which one you buy.
