Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
Mark Davis has done it, he was able to get the necessary votes for his franchise to move from Oakland to Las Vegas with only Miami voting against the move. My question is will Madden 18 have the ability to move the Raiders to Vegas or will they not include this? I know with teams like Atlanta, Minnesota, and LA Rams the Madden developers have done a good job of getting their stadium in the game in the respective year it was estimated to be finished. Anybody have any idea if the Las Vegas Raiders will be coming to a video game near us anytime soon.PSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

I knew they weren't moving for a while, but I believe in Madden 17 the LA Rams get their new stadium in season 3 or 4 so I'm curious if they'll at least add the option to move the Raiders to Las Vegas. I can't believe that city still isn't available as a relocation option, they're going to have an NHL franchise in June and an NFL franchise in a couple years.PSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Re: Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
Think it all depends on where they will play. Have a feeling they might play in the UNLV stadium this year. Kinda like how Rams play in USC and Chargers will play at Stubhub. Would figure they would get that in the game.
Speaking of Madden 18, you have to figure we will be hearing something in the next 3-5 weeks.Comment

No, Davis said they aren't moving to Las Vegas until the 2019 season. He said they're going to play in Oakland for the 2017 and 2018 seasons.Think it all depends on where they will play. At the very least, I'd like to see Las Vegas added to the relocation options.
Also, off-topic, did they ever say if the LA Chargers will be playing in the Gals' stadium?Red Wolves | Broncos | Cubs | Grizzlies | Predators | Liverpool FC | Sporting KCComment

Personally, I'd expect the Raiders to continue to play in Oakland in Madden 18 and for Las Vegas to be added to the list of relocation options. I'd also expect some banter from Brandon Gaudin and Charles Davis about their pending relocation.
I could see the Raiders being handled in Madden 19 similar to how the Los Angeles Rams were initially handled this year, that being a forced relocation at the end of the first season in franchise. This behavior was patched out for the Rams in M17 because a lot of people prefered the LA Coliseum over the generic futuristic domed stadium the game gave the Rams in year 2, but I don't see people being similarly attached to O.co Coliseum personally.Comment

I would be satisfied if all they did was include Las Vegas as a relocation option because I do 32 team control so I can mimic the league as much as I can. Hopefully they at least add that option since it'll be a few seasons till we actually see the Las Vegas Raiders taking an NFL fieldPersonally, I'd expect the Raiders to continue to play in Oakland in Madden 18 and for Las Vegas to be added to the list of relocation options. Re: Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
I would hope/think that for next year's game they just add Las Vegas as a relocation option so you can move them there when you want to, and pick whichever stadium you want. (so you can pick the stadium that most resembles where they will play in real life, and then move them in 2019 if you want to).
That's the easiest way to allow us to reproduce what will happen in real life if we want. Just add Vegas as a relocation city, they wouldnt even need to make 3 fake uniforms for the city since the Raiders are keeping their brand.
If they create Las Vegas as a relocation city, they should leave Oakland as a relocation city too. (some heart broken die-hard Raiders fans might want to keep them there).
I dont see Madden taking the time to design new uniforms and stadiums, but they can at least just add Vegas.
In general, all of the relocation uniforms, stadiums, and cities need an over-haul and more uniform options. The same tired relocation uniforms that Looman came up with years ago need to be over-hauled. Most are aweful, and few have display glitches. But that's getting off topic...
Let's just hope they add Vegas to relocations. They should have already.Comment

Re: Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
since it is official now, we should be able to move them if we want....just use a generic or futuristic stadium for the time being. i found it interesting they are still playing 2017 and 2018 in oakland. there was major resentment from fans after the rams and chargers decided to move but they moved fairly quickly to temporary stadiums. these next 2 years should be pretty interesting. wonder why the raiders didn't do the same....Comment

Re: Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
I think they're staying because Mark Davis looked around Las Vegas and the only real stadium is UNLV's football stadium and that holds around 40,000 people. The O.co coliseum holds 63,000 and change so he's probably just trying to make as much money as he can off ticket sales before leaving town. The LA Chargers will probably lose money by playing in the StubHub Stadium because of the low, low number of fans they can have at each gamesince it is official now, we should be able to move them if we want....just use a generic or futuristic stadium for the time being. i found it interesting they are still playing 2017 and 2018 in oakland. there was major resentment from fans after the rams and chargers decided to move but they moved fairly quickly to temporary stadiums. these next 2 years should be pretty interesting. wonder why the raiders didn't do the same....PSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Re: Las Vegas Raiders, Madden 2018?
i was thinking that too but due to fan resentment does he think they will sellout or easily clear 40,000 fans a game? the fans can show their displeasure by not buying tickets just to spite him. las vegas has been waiting forever for an NFL franchise, so i would think they would sellout their games. just checked and they were last in attendance last year at around 54,000 per game.I think they're staying because Mark Davis looked around Las Vegas and the only real stadium is UNLV's football stadium and that holds around 40,000 people.
