    Humanity AI = Myth?

This was talked about a lot before the game came out and I gotta be honest, after probably around 100 games (Conquest and vs CPU for Team Epics), I'm not noticing any difference between 17 and 16. I haven't seen the AI take a bad route to a ball or misplay a ball off the wall. Not one error in 100 games. The only "error" i see is the umpires calling ball on a clear strike over the plate. Every time I make solid contact, they run directly to the spot the ball will be dropping. EVERY time.

Has anyone seen this alleged "humanity AI" first hand?

Nope. Much improved if you ask me. I hit 2 shots off the wall in the last game i played and both times the cpu had to adjust their position to field it unlike previous versions where they would be standing in the exact landing spot..

I have seen new stuff and examples of Humanity AI in every game I have played.

        Yes I have

And I've seen errors by the CPU.

I think humanity AI isn't making bad reads on balls or anything. It means that the fielders will have the presence of mind to start their throwing animation based on who is running. If the CPU runner is slow, the fielder can take his time and still get an out. A fast runner and the fielder knows he has to get the ball out faster to get an out. I see this multiple times a game.

I saw Bryce Harper take a terrible line to a fly ball I hit. He barely made the catch, when really he should have been camped under it.

are you less likely to see OF'ers misplay flyballs in legend mode?
as opposed to say, veteran, using default sliders on both?

That is what Im wondering. I am trying to test it out on Veteran vs. All-Star but I havent had a ton of time yet.

I haven't seen any fielding or throwing errors so far, however I have seen fielders make bad/poor/awkward reads off balls going off walls or into corners. Pretty awesome to see actually, and each time I've seen it an extra base was the result.

yeah i've definitely seen some of it. I've seen outfielders take weird routes to fly balls, i've even seen them lose a pop up in the roof at Tampa Bay once.

Haven't seen very many errors yet, but I've only played about 30 games.
But I have definitely seen outfielders take bad routes to the ball, I've gotten extra bases/runs because of it. I'm thrilled with how it's playing this year

Humanity AI is also very present in CPU pitching..if your NOT a patient hitter like i am not even close to being they will eat you alive... even on Rookie plus and below hitting while pitching on barely veteran level on Dynamic Diff...

This has happened to me a lot on butting plays against the CPU. Well I guess the pitcher did show urgency in running toward the 1st base bag.

                              You are partially incorrect.

The Humanity AI definitely includes stuff like guys taking bad routes to balls and the like.
