Do you need an actual CF for the CF Diamond putout mission

or can you just use any player and put him in center? It says CF but doesn't explain if it has to be their main position or if anyone that is playing CF counts. I have a RF in CF right now for other mission reasons and was wondering if I am wasting the CF putout mission because of it.

If it is like all the other missions, the player needs to be CF, but it doesn't matter where you put him.
So just put all 3 CFs in the outfield.

I needed to score xy doubles by second basemen, so I just used 4 2Bs in the infield.

Also, cheat and put 3 CF in the outfield and a CF at first

I could do this but then I wouldn't have breakout players playing for that mission. If I get a hold of some breakout CF, I definitely will.

Cameron Maybin and Michael Saunders. I've had them almost from day one, and use Maybin a lot, he is fast.
I think you can get them often for not too many tickets in the ticket shop.

I am still waiting to purchase any players from there. I wanted to get Jim Edmonds since I'm an Angels fan but I decided to hold off and save tickets in case some awesome player is available soon.

There's also a breakout Aaron Hicks that is on the market that is a CF I believe

I finished this mission pretty quick by putting Dustin Ackley at 1st. So every groundball got a put out towards the mission. Just need center as their primary position

I thought they had to be the one throwing to the base or catching the flyball for it to count. I'll try that thanks.
