GamersMark Network posted their review of ESPN NFL 2K5 and they are pissed. They hate the game. They said that the gameplay is awful, the franchise is a waste. "Just remember when you see the $20 price tag. You get exactly what you pay for. For a below average price, you get a below average football title." Does this game really suck?

The last Sega football game I played was on the Dreamcast... OH how horrid!

I've played Madden on the PS1, PC and PS2... Madden had gotten to the point of minimal gameplay changes and more roster updates/franchise enhancement... so I don't think it'll change that much. I hope Madden fixes the defense like they are saying they did..

That being said.... I have to compare this game to last years Madden, and Hands down the winner is this version of ESPN. This game is very good, and that reviewer blasted things that are done well. In my first game I actually saw the CPU drop back for a long bomb, and thought, well there's a touchdown because of the way Madden played. It wasn't my DB jumped and swatted it down. To see the players actually break on a ball, to change their routes to get to it both on defense and offense was great. I think the gameplay on this one is much better than the last few versions of Madden I played.

Actually, strike that... Considering their piss-poor review of this fine game, I don't really care to know.
