Most Undervalued Players (Silver and Lower) and Most Overvalued

Who do you guys think are some of the most undervalued players in this game (silver and lower). And who do you believe to me the most over valued. I'll share a couple of mine.

    UNDERRATED

Bob Feller 82 - I pitch him and he feels like he should be a gold. His fastball is 99mph, has a wicked curve and decent control. He's also got a really funky windup that seems to confuse opponents.

Matt Harvery 82 - See above.

JD Martinez 84 - Solid pinch hitter. Has great power and decent contact against both righties and lefties, I prefer him to V Martinez because he has atleast some speed.

Anthony Rendon 83 - This one might be just me, but for whatever reason I hit really well with Rendon. He stuck around my lineup for ever, played third until I picked up Lemehiu and then I moved him to first until I picked up Encarnacion last night. I'll almost be sad to see him go, but he'll likely be the first pinch hitter.

Charlie Blackmon 84 - If you're building your team, this is the best value card in the game. He's under 2k and he plays like a Diamond. His contact, speed, power and defense make me wonder how he's a silver. He out performs Marte for me and he's 1/10 the price.

    OVERRATED

Herrerra 85 - I got him as a drop and really only kept him in hopes of completing the Royals collection. He 'should' be good but for whatever reason he gets blasted all over the ballpark when I use him, even when he was boosted to 89 recently.

Zobrist 85 - I wanted to add Zobrist because of his versatility and while he's not terrible, he certainly doesn't perform like a Gold. I can see why you can pick him up so cheap now. As my team gets stronger, he'll move to the bench and only come in if someone gets injured.

Carlos Santana 81. Very frequenly is his inside edge having him a lot higher.

Phillies Collection reward Kenny Lofton 82. 90+ Contact against Lefties and righties is always terriffic, and it's one of the cheaper collection costs

Eduardo Nunez. Good at getting on base, and good at taking the extra bag.

Rookie Dale Murphy. for 15 Braves cards you get a catcher with 79 speed, and can hit the ball well to all fields.

Tyler Skaggs. No idea why, I just pitch very well with him on the mound

Hunter Strickland. Bullpen Anchor, and frequently bumped up to high gold levels

Asdrubal Cabrera and Jake Lamb are two guys I like to plug in when they have inside edge.

When Albert Pujols has boosted inside edge he's borderline OP. There have been times where he has high 90s power, 60-80 contact with 90+ vision (if I'm remembering his vision rating correctly).

Re: Most Undervalued Players (Silver and Lower) and Most Overvalued

Garrett Richards is 99 overall, most people just don't know it. Touches 98 with the fastball, 77 on a Big, breaking curve (almost 12-6), & his change can go as low as 85....his 2 seam is always above 94 while his slider is as good as any other slider, especially when working off his fastball

Oh right & if you pitch with Analog, his delivery is super quick & smooth, even out of the stretch. Easy to have good control with him. Since MLB 15 I've had no reason to remove this guy from the rotation. 8-1 online this year & 21-1 overall lol

I second Harvey as another Silver that can duel like an Ace. Brad Miller & Odubel Herrera are also two really versitle cards. Decent base ratings, really strong when boosted (miller 75/95 vs righties ATM) & they're essential utility guys, can play them anywhere. Odubel is already Trea Turner-lite. Also Derek Dietrich....when he's got a nice boost, he's an interesting plug at 2nd base

& RIP to the OP Franklin Gutierrez, that card used to rake lol

I run Richards, Salazar, Harvey, Feller and Matz as my pitchers. They're all really great pitchers for silver.

If you get the option to pick up Feller (tickets) I would do it, he's been borderline unhittable for me.

Good looks man, think I will grab feller now. I've been on edge about that cause of his BB/9 rating, thinking hell get exposed online. But I didn't know he throws 99, that + his windup does sound like it's worth itt. Plus I've been hoarding tickets lol. I'm running all-silver rotation too except for Postseason CC who I just got, & is totally a beast lol

Haha it was only a matter of time before Gutierrez went down. He was my cleanup hitter until this update. I've said it before he was basically Giancarlo Stanton.

As mentioned before, the bronze Dale Murphy card is a very nice catcher to use early on and Eduardo Nunez is a great value card for all that he can do with his speed and hitting.

I really like the breakout Brad Miller card as well. He hits for power vs righties and has come up big for me a few times. Not bad for 100 tickets.

Sergio Romo. That slider of his is NASTY. Mix that with his solid fastball and changeup and he has been nearly unhittable for me. Can be bought for about 80 stubs.

Hector Rondon. My closer. Has been lights out for me. Have 55 saves and 1 blown save with him. He's unreal. Can get him for about 210 stubs which is a little pricier than some of the other names that I mentioned but with the year he's having thus far, he might be going gold soon.

Rookie Max Scherzer. He's also been tremendous for me.

Brandon Phillips. Current BP can hit the lights out against righties especially when IE is in his favor and raises his Cont vs R to a 92. Can be had for about 90 stubs.

Corey Dickerson. Another card that becomes a monster against righties when IE is in his favor usually raising both Cont vs R and Power vs R to over a 90! 50 stubs should be enough to get him.

Honorable mentions: Breakout Giambi (against righties), Breakout Aaron Hicks (only against lefties).

I faced Romo for the first time a few days ago. It didn't go well.

Steve Pearce (1B) is a player who I'm pretty sure got boosted from Bronze to Silver w the last roster update, & now he's a really nice option to plug a Bat into second base. He's currently +12 vs Righties (both sides ofc) & that gives him 79 / 70 / 83 /87 left to right as a hitter. That's nice pop at 2B

Judge also received his first big boost to righties, which pretty much makes him Mark Trumbo. He's a lot of people's new go-to player for HR Derbys

And just now as I look, Andrew Beinitendi looks like a pretty sweet card. He also has +12 vs righties giving him 94/66 vs R as a lefty bat. 70+ across the board with speed/fielding/arm. Worth monitoring his stock I'd say

Most Undervalued Players (Silver and Lower) and Most Overvalued

                              From my experience

                              Underrated Hitters

JD Martinez - Absolutely rakes. Has been in my lineup since the first week. Balanced vs R/L, horrible fielder but he'll make the easy plays. Still leads my team in BA even though he's only one of 2 silver's in my starting lineup, the rest being golds & 2 diamonds.

Flashback Jarrod Saltalamacchia - Realllllyyyyyy good against RHP, nice power & contact. Good luck against LHP & not the greatest defensively but not completely horrible either.

Justin Bour - Another righty masher, especially on days where his IE is up, can be a good pinch hitter.

Matt Kemp - JD Martinez lite; good hitter but he is a disaster in the field

Gary Sanchez - Not a bad catcher to have if you're looking for offense, a reverse splits guy who is actually better vs RHP

                              Pitchers

Bronze Rookie Billy Wagner - If you are good enough to survive with a 2 pitch mix, Wagner is pretty good. High velo (97-100MPH) & a good slider. Very effective pitcher vs LHH

Marco Estrada - Great H/9, not much in terms of velo. If you can mix your pitches & locations, trust me he'll be successful for you. Delivery can take some getting used to, can really mess up hitter's timing from the stretch by varying release times.

Chris Devenski - One of the best long relievers out there, especially on good IE days.

Edwin Diaz - MUST HAVE in your bullpen. Nasty FB/Slider combo, can be tough for opponents to pick up. Has been in my bullpen since week 1. Better than the popular Nate Jones/Kelvin Herrera/Carter Capps.

Sergio Romo - Nasty slider. Key to success is the slider & mixing up his pitches.

                              Overrated Pitchers

Hunter Strickland/Carter Capps - The velo & stuff is enticing to have in your pen, but as you move up & face better players, they can get eaten alive. I struggled facing these 2 before & after seeing them so often I have gotten decently successful against them. Still have games where I can't hit either one, but it all depends on who I'm facing & whether or not I can pick up their pitch patterns. Some struggle vs them, some don't. They're so hard to face but they can be really bad at times, especially against really good players.

Breakout Nate Eovaldi - Dude is horrible lol tried to use him for a couple games, fastball is flat & offspeed stuff isn't really good.

                              Overrated Hitters

Honestly can't think of anyone that I've used
