Sliding decisions post patch
 

They don't seem to work for me anymore. Every steal, I attempt to slide away from the throw (right on the R stick) and every slide is headfirst directly into the base.

If this is the case my stolen base success will go from about 15% to 0%.

I'm playing on auto-baserunning, but I use the override for every steal. Wondering if anyone has any luck using any other method.

It stopped working for me as well since the latest update. I was thrown out twice at home on close plays on sacrifice flies, but couldn't slide to the outside. Slid right down the middle into the tag.

It's not broken, still works fine for me. I've been able to directional slide both left and right

Ah, it seems like maybe they made it more difficult to override autobaserunning. Normally if I tapped L1 as the pitcher was in his windup, it would cancel AB. Now it seems like I have to press it either multiple times or later to take control. Also noticed this when I tried to cancel a steal on a pitchout, when I pressed R1 I didn't immediately head back to first, I had to mash it.

Sliding not broken for me, but the base running is still totally jacked. Tried to suicide squeeze last night in the bottom of the 14th. It was a pitch out so I told the runner from 3rd to return to 3rd. He continued to run to home plate (out). Man on first ran to 2nd for some reason (also out).

My controller almost became one with the wall. Fortunately I hit a walk off in the 15th.
