Season Rules

Spoiler

- We will use the new points format for 2017 minus any bonus playoff points.At the end of each of the first two segments, the top 10 earn points on a 10-to-1 scale. At the end of the race, all 40 drivers earn points with the winner getting 40, then second through 35th on a descending 35-to-2 scale and 36th to 40th all get one point apiece.

- No Playoffs.....36 Races using points fomat to determine the season winner.

I'm gonna borrow this from Mike,

Pick the amount of cars based on the place you are picking (based on your finish in the last race), if you pick 2nd pick 2 cars, 5th 5 cars, and so on.

Place the driver who you want the most at the top, 2nd most 2nd, and so on until you fill the list based on how many you need.

As I gather the list I will mark off cars from your list that have been taken. I will then take the driver who is highest on your list, that is left.

Please send me a PM with your picks. We are all members here at OS, and it's much easier to deal with it all in one place.

If I mess up, please let me know ASAP.

Please don't submit your picks on this thread, unless you want everyone in front of you to know who you really want.

Well, that was a pretty crazy last 30 or so laps. I think segment 3 took longer than segments 1 and 2 combined. I think NASCAR deliberately waited until the leaders crossed the overtime line to throw the final caution so they wouldn't have to try again with the fading light as they were well short of the line when the wreck happened.

Congrats Bighoff. Great race. Hope everyone is ok. But I agree with Burgh they were done either way after last restart with daylight almost gone.

Hell yeah, it's been a long time coming for the #5! I could care less about the fantasy pick this week, my favorite driver is back in the winner's circle and not dead in the water like most feared.

On a side note, Harvick still got me a good fantasy finish.

Congrats Bighoff on having the best pick this week.
