UFC 3 Event: What should I look for?

So we have a UFC 3 event coming up very soon and I want to be better organized going into it. With UFC 2, I'll admit that I got caught up with the joy of playing the new game and all of the features and missed the opportunity to address some issues early on.

I'm going to be much better organized this time (I already have a list of things that I'm going to check on and address....mostly offline/AI/CAF things) but I wanted to see if the community could help me identify some issues/problems from UFC 2 that I can see if they are still issues in UFC 3.

Keep in mind, that things like striking are likely very different so things like the combo multiplier or parries could be very different. Also try to be as specific as possible.

The downside is I probably wont be able to let you guys know if these things were addressed until we get closer to release but this list will help me and the other GCs address them earlier in development.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Will the AI choose it's distance for the fight and try to press it? In 2 you can pretty much pick it apart at distance. This was the AIs #1 flaw that I noticed.

How realistic are rocks how long it take to recover, are they feel random can you finished a rocked guy in the same sentence or do you still need to rock him 3-4 times.

      And also very important

Is rocked guy easier to finish by submission like in real life, it was imposibble in ufc 2.

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

      Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

Invite and search options swapped for quick match. Make sure parries are easier to pull off and have bigger counter window. Realistic distance on strikes off the cage and in the air.

If there has to be so many superman strikes, rear overhand, lead superman. I think you know that one already though.

Since everyone is going to be posting gameplay related stuff, i figure i ask about presentation.

                  1. New Bruce Buffer audio (We are live - Co Main event)

                  2. New shorts and the different color options we have

                  3. New Arenas and how do they look

                  4. Main Menu layout and does it look different then UFC 2

                  5. How the fighter models look compared to UFC 2.

                  6. If they fixed the camera angles near the octagon cage and on the ground from being blocked off at certain times in UFC 2.

                  7. New referee animations during TKOs and submissions (Do they actually protect the fighters in UFC 3.)

                  8. Referee stand up timers on the ground. (The only gameplay related question)

                  9. Does Justin Gaethje have great stats??????

I'm sure there's more stuff, but i can't think of anything else

should Gaethe have great stats outside of chin and heart? (By great I'm thinking like near top of the spectrum for that weight class)

I'd like to know if their is a fight IQ stat. I'm biased, but I thought my fight iq idea was amazing!

Even if it's nothing like my idea analysts talk about fight iq all the time. Let's make it a stat.

He should be roughly top 5 as of what we know about him thus far.

I'd look for realistic striking in general. Can you still lean back and avoid all strikes to the head? Are slips and ducks now more effective? Is countering after using head movement to evade more effective? Is dashing back and countering more effective?

Testing how useful the counter striking is in general would be great. Hopefully it's more rewarding now.

Also check out how effective a straight + body kick is. Cause in this game it's way too OP. I'd know as it's probably my most effective combination. The game has too much of an emphasis on kicks in general imo. It's very hard to beat anyone by nearly only boxing.

If stamina plays more of a part this game (Fight Night-esque). I'm sure this will have to do in part with the revamped striking system though.

                          If fight camps are in.

What improvements in general we can expect to see in order to make Ultimate Team more dynamic i.e Inviting, tournaments - LEC (for UT rewards) etc

                            1. does the AI fight similar to their real life counterparts

                            2. Is the game challenging on the hardest difficulty

                            3. do fighters feel unique

                            4. stamina / movement/ head movement

                            5. Referee interaction

Signature moves! Funnily enough, I had a daydream about this the other day. Maia could have signature takedown and back control animations, to feel and look unique, while someone like Machida should have a Machida Straight and a Machida Flurry maybe, exclusive to him. Also, real damage. EA MMA style counter windows or just straight up good damage and no combo multiplier.

Better stats! Even though the game is far from finished, I'm sure a few have semi-decent stats at this point in development.

Can you fight back with full powered strikes when rocked like UD3? If there's real power then even when rocked, I should be able to counter (even if it's slower) and land a solid punch, scoring a rock or a knockdown.

Please check to see if the current spam and cheese techniques either don't work or are punishable. That's a big thing. If we have real power, we'd be able to actually effectively counter the constant cheese and spam.

Oh and please tell me the AI doesn't parry spam like hell. Not only are they terrible, the parries just suck the fun out of it even more.

If I think of anything else, I'll make a new post but also add to this post.

EDIT: HOLY **** HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT JUDGING?

Octagon control must not be as strong as it is right now, it's wayyy too powerful when it comes to scoring the fight.
