Worth a listen and certainly there will be mixed reactions.

To me I am hung up on the part where he says they can't add new throwback uniforms without first fixing the existing ones...But then doesn't say why they aren't doing just that.

Answer is, of course, resources and round and round we go.


Ps. No new helmets or facemasks "at launch" but insinuated something post launch.

Great point about the throwbacks. I'm betting my $$ on that they have the same uniforms from past iterations. I would rather him just say, its not a top priority instead of it tickling the ears of the consumer. Just be real. I would rather it be straight forward about it and not beating around the bush. Some of the information is things we have all heard already. It's a good interview I must say (especially for people that are on on these forums. If you read the youtube comments you can see that.)

I get they are under a timetable and I'm honestly curious on when do the next cycle begins for the next iteration. Resources are there but however its (more than likely) not up to them on which priorities will make it in. Just my opinion of course

Idk about you guys but I am tired of excuses when it comes to Madden or hell EAsports in general. Why is it that you seldom hear 2k talking about well we want to do this or that but the way our current game is set up this or that will break or not work if we add this or that feature.

The fact he even brought up the sidelines when talking about how it would effect the Pro Bowl is laughable when the sidelines are an eyesoar outside of cutscenes.

Basically a video on what's not going to be in Madden 18 and why while showing clips and pics of old Madden games that had the features we want back in the game such as mouthpieces and pro bowl helmets.

Can't listen at work anyone have a summary?

Dont have a playable Pro-Bowl because takes too much memory to load all the team specific stuff. (That was half the vlog)

Takes a few weeks to months or more to get new equipment scanned and in the game.

No new Helmets or facemasks at launch.

Not sure on new uniforms or expansion team locations... thinks maybe something was done, a tweek he says.

No new coach apparel.

Not sure of commentary speaking about uniforms (? ?)

I want to see more interviews from this guy... he is a straight shooter.

Of course as a CFM guy, I cant help but relate a lot of his comments to where CFM is at.

It's a tough spot to be in. Do they go high quality graphics and have player likeness suffer? Or get likeness down pat with less graphical fidelity?

If you told me this would be an issue for newer more advanced consoles back in the ps2 days I wouldn't have believed you.

I want to fix what's there before we add more, also, we are fixing the Throwbacks in game right now as we speak, not sure when you guys will see them though.
