MyPlayer Max Level at Start of 2k18?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but considering that there has been a major overhaul in the way you can level up your player this year, does anyone know what the max level you can attain if you choose to buy VC to level up your character initially?

84 wow that's pretty high to start with.

They either have it at 64 or 84. They should make it 76-78 sorta range: good enough to be useful enough to warrant hype in the game, but enough ceiling to grow into

It's more than likely 84-85, there were a bunch of 84 players running around in the steam and you would have to believe they wouldn't tease people with that only to turn it around and let you be only a 64.

It's actually lower than 2K17 which was 86. You could basically max out your player to that and get your grand badge once you played enough games so this seems more based upon being a high end draft pick. Given the goal of it all is to get to a 99, I'm guessing that it's going to be a long road of grinding regardless if you buy VC or not so I wouldn't worry about that.

That's weak if it's that easy to buy the rating up. People will be at 99 within the first month. Then what?

From what i heard you start at 60 and you can if you wish to do so buy your way up to 85 with vc right from the start.

With 99 being equivalent to Legend in 2k17, I'm gonna bet grinding to 95 won't be as easy as last year.

The OP meant how much can you basically buy your rating up to before you have to actually start playing and earning the extra attributes. Of course we are going to start out low as we have been the past few years.

I really wish they would just start us all off at 70 and by playing like in a rpg you level up and get points towards leveling your stats and such. How like nba live is.

But ofc they know lots of people will spend vc to level up multiple characters so that won't change that anytime soon.
