Madden 18 - CFM LT sack issue
 
Hi Crew


So I've simmed a number of seasons now in online CFM and no matter what team i go it looks as though the dreaded issue of CFM Madden 17 is back!


In the 5 most recent sim seasons my LT's have given up the following amount of sacks over the course of the regular season;
Season 1 - 28
Season 2 - 31
Season 3 - 28
Season 4 - 34
Season 5 - 31

Now, keep in mind the next highest sack total for anyone on my offensive line in all 5 seasons was 7 ..... yes, 7!!!

This has been an issue since Madden 17 where it appeared as though the majority of sacks in any given game ended up on the LT's stat sheet, even if they didnt give up the sack. This resulted in some major regressions for LT's for that season.

At the completion of each of those 5 seasons i can also confirm that most (85-90%) LT's amongst the entire NFL gave up in excess of 20-25 sacks :jpshakehe

EA - please fix this !!

Not sure if it's going to get better soon.

This upcoming patch in mid-September is going to increase the pass rush. It's one of the things Rex said they were tuning.

That has zero relevance to what the poster stated though.

The op was talking about the sim engine, not actual gameplay.

For online franchises I believe a server side update could remedy this, but offline guys would have to wait for it to be patched

So when they tune pass rush, it won't have any affect on the sim engine?

I can tell you matter of factly that it won't though. Gameplay and sim engine are two different areas of code. Boosting the run blocking slider doesn't result in an increase in sim rushing stats.

So if I turn QB accuracy to 0 in the sliders and WR catching to 0, will QB's still have great games and go with 65-70'ish completion %'s in sim?
