Coach mode stats with my sliders
 

Playing coach mode with the all-pro difficulty I've got the stats where I want them with 15 min quarters. I just finished the season with a 4-12 record, all player stats seem about right compared to rest of the league. I'll post the sliders here when I get the chance. Games mostly are very tight, turnovers make a big difference and big plays happen but not all the time.

Nice. Is this coach mode or supersim. Those play out differently

Coach mode. I call the plays and use the supersim for kicking and punting so I don't have to do that myself either :) Sliders can be found in this youtube video, Where I used the supersim just to get some footage of gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuYQ6wPHwO0&t=228s

Would these work with a sort of a Coach Mode style play? I use Coach Mode for QB because I suck at passing. I only play offense and super sim defense

Been trying to read up on Coach Mode. Confused by varying responses. Quick question...do you still have to control a player on Coach Mode? Or do you just call the plays and the CPU plays the game?

Question. I also play coach mode but have Madden17. Other than this post there is alot of negative feedbk in which states there are steps forward and steps back in 18. Is it worth getting 18 or are the prior patches from 17 good enough to stay with last years version?

When you have coach mode on, you just call the plays. On offense you have to snap the ball and not touch the controls after that. Also you have to do kicking and punting in coach mode.

If you want the cpu to do the kicking also, before the game resets itself to pick the next play, just pause, switch the controller to the other team and the cpu will do your kicking. I.E., if I score a TD, before the celebration animation is over, I pause and switch control to the other team. I like watching my extra points and field goals.
