Week 2 MNF: Detroit Lions (1-0) @ New York Giants (0-1)

Last year, this was the game that sent Detroit on a downward spiral. Stafford's gotta play better than he did with the busted finger last year and hopefully the D-line is as disruptive as they were against Arizona. I don't expect a run game here again. I expect Odell to suit up, despite him saying it was a 6-8 week injury.

Let's hope for a fun one on Monday Night.

Giants defense should be able to pretty much keep us in this game.

Up to Macadoo play calling and Eli staying off his back to win it.

I expect that Marshall will be heavily targeted even if OBJ plays.

    LETS GO GIANTS!!

It'll be interesting to see how the Giants O-line holds up. There are some that say this could be the worst line in the Eli Era. Otherwise, I think this could be a pretty entertaining game.

JPP did a great job to cause a fumble and instead of trying to recover the fumble which should have been recovered by the Lions he decided to stand up and celebrate.

            Well, irrelevant now.

Nice to see the Lions with a legit punt returner. I thought for sure he was gonna drop that.

These Lions Unis are tough, especially with the white cleats.

Odell should practice catching with two hands.

There's been a little chit-chat lately about whether Matt Stafford is worth that contract, but I think tonight, as well as plenty others prove that yes, he is. And I have no doubt that he's one of the top 25% of all starting QBs in the league. He's made the Lions relevant and competitive on a fairly regular basis. If they could ever straighten out the other, less-adept areas of their team, I'd love to see him in a high-level playoff game beyond the WC round.

My first thought: Both teams need different left tackles.

My other thoughts: Good game by the Lions. First time I can remember us running the ball more than passing it in some time. Hate to see Davis go down late. Hope he's alright. Giants secondary is pretty sticky out there, even without Janoris. Glad it didn't make a difference in the score.

Still gonna need to play better next week against Atlanta. Hope Abdullah is alright since he went down late too.

McAdoo needs to have a talk with himself about his playcalling.
