Re: MyTeam 2k18 Line-up Suggestion/ Players review thread
Does anyone have any good players tips for the triangle motion system?
Thought I'd try to run it. -

Tbh I find it very difficult to find players for specific systems.
I took Carlisle for Balanced as it seems that most players are content with balancedComment

Pulled historic Bucks Ray Allen which is unbelievable. This card is just nuts and I don't know how he's a 83.
The threes, the driving, the speed, the hotzones are completely ridiculous at this point of the game.Last edited by Bi00; 09-18-2017, 01:48 AM.Comment

Haven't seen a badging thread and didn't want to start a new one.
Any suggestions for Ruby Roy Hibbert? He comes with defensive and screening badges. 4 open slots, and I haven't seen the effect of most badges yet this year.Comment

D stopper, Rim protector, hustle rebounder, PutBack King, brickwall, bruiser. Think those would be my top choices for him. Lots of ways you could build him tho.Comment

He comes with all of those.
I was thinking lob city finisher and maybe a couple of drop stepper/up and under. His mid-range is solid also.Comment

It had fallen to the 2nd page. Here it is:
I just updated it with my recommendation for Hibbert.
I'm not a mod, so it's just a suggestion: if we try to concentrate discussion of badging in that thread, then it's really convenient, throughout the cycle, to just do a search for a name within that thread. Which makes it a nice resource when we're looking for help in deciding.Comment

Re: MyTeam 2k18 Line-up Suggestion/ Players review thread
I wanted to talk a little about Karl Anthony Towns. On paper, his attributes don't really blow you away but I went ahead and got him anyway because I am a Timberwolves fan and wanted to do the Isiah Rider collection.
Towns has been a straight up beast for me. I have played him at the 4 and the 5 and he has done great. Nearly every time I drive with him he blows past his defender and dunks. He did this in domination and in 2 games of Supermax. I was thinking I'd run Shaq in Supermax but I'll be going with Towns from now on. To have that athleticism and size at the center position is amazing.
His spot up shooting is hit or miss but he will make enough shots to make it worth your while. I'd highly recommend Towns as a pickup.
Anybody else used him?Minnesota Vikings- Minnesota Twins- Minnesota T-Wolves
Everton FC

Re: MyTeam 2k18 Line-up Suggestion/ Players review thread
I've been using Towns as either my starting C or PF every game. Only complaint is that he can't seem to hit a good release three ever. I used to run pick and pop with him but he was never consistent enough. Now I have him at PF for spacing and run Raef at C. Way better shooter and release with a much needed hot zone at the top of the key.
At PF though, I've had no issues with Towns. I really really like having two Cs this year so I can use the closest one to cover the paint on D. He hasn't had issues with covering the perimeter and is long enough and quick enough to recover on close outs.Comment
