Coach mode workaround does not work in NBA 2K18

Also annoying to think they took the time to remove the bug rather than taking the time to reimpliment the feature considering the bones of it was still in the code. Oh well. Maybe I'll try position lock this year.

What I dont understand is why get rid of it in the first place, regardless if that workaround was there or not? You would think a true coach mode of subbing, calling timeouts, calling plays, etc. be a welcomed, realistic, and immersive part to a basketball game.

Side question, can you still watch games in MyLeague and/or MyGM?

I would be happy with just watching in MyGM, that is what I mostly did with coach mode anyways. That is after all pretty much what real life GMs do when the team plays.

I would be stoked if I had some choices, like maybe watch from the skybox, or courtside.

Unfortunately, you can't even do a CPU vs CPU in MyGM. They took that away as well

Any updates guys? I tried the Choose Sides however its not the same as the coach mode.

Do they not have the Live Sim mode (can't remember exactly what it's called) where you had just player icons moving up and down the floor? I always played that as "coach mode" because it went by much faster.

I'd be happy with watching. Not realistic that a GM would be making subs and such anyway.

Call plays, time outs roster moves and so forth without actually "playing" a player. More strategy then "game play".

So . . . . yea LOL
