Draft Question
Is there a way to add your drafted player immediately to your NHL roster? I know he can't go to the AHL but I had the #1 pick and signed him right away yet I can't figure out how to get him onto my NHL squad.Tags: None -
Re: Draft Question
Go to roster moves and go to in the system and recall him up... u gotta make sure u have a roster spot first before u can call him up -
Re: Draft Question
Thanks but I don't see him anywhere on a roster..I just drafted him and signed him but he is a 77 overall so I want him now, not wait another 2-3 years...I see him in my contracts but not on a rosterLast edited by desperado462; 09-19-2017, 11:19 PM.Comment

Re: Draft Question
My question is a little off topic, but is there somewhere that lists what all the prospects potential means: things like Elite or D4? Is there a rating those project out to?
ThanksComment

Re: Draft Question
With the new rating scale probably something like this give or take
Elite is probably 86+
Top 6 F/Top 4 D is 82-85
Top 9 F/Top 6 D is 77-83Comment

Re: Draft Question
Thanks for the reply.
So with a guy that is projected top 6F, the best he will likely be is mid 80s (and 2nd line player). And that would be his prime (maybe at age 27-30)?
While a Bottom 6F, would probably be mid 70s at his best and a guy on your 3rd to 4th line?
And guys only end up being as good as those projections if they have High or Exact on Potential and would likely be worse if they have medium or low potential?Comment
