HUGE career mode bug after 1st season? Loans/ pre-sells/buys not working

So towards the end of my first season I agreed some loan deals for my youth players and also accepted to sell Cech to Dortmund for 10m when the window opens for instance. Now when I continued to the next season, they are still there and the loanees are there as well. They won't leave anywhere, nor do I get the player (Goretzka) I signed on a pre-contract.

Is there any possible way to get this fixed? If not I've just wasted a good amount of time playing through all games manually only to end up with this bug ruining my entire career mode.

Yep, I had the glitch when finishing my first season last night. I couldn't find a way to fix it but I did sim to January and the transfers/loans will go through in the January Transfer window.
It's not just the player's transfers that are glitched by this, every player that arranged a transfer before the Summer Transfer window won't move until January.

What about transfers negotiated during the summer window? Do they leave/come in during the window? I there not the "this many billions were spent during the window" tab that opens up on the final day? I'm 3 games away from the end of the season. So I will likely hit the summer window tonight. I currently don't have any pre-contracts on the books, but I have may and june to go..

Yeah, it’s a pretty frustrating glitch. I think it’s caused by disabling the first transfer window. I’ve just stopped doing pre agreements the first year. I’m not sure if it still does it after that.

Interesting. I may test this tonight. I prefer to disable the 1st window, but if it has ruined every window after.....
I'm curious about the affect it has after year one. I have the guys that I will need/want for the next few years and have little need of bringing anyone into the team. I always sell players when they hit 30 years old, so I will be selling players.
I sure hope this isn't completely broken... This would be enough to ruin the game for me (and this the only mode I play).

I didn't get a chance to try this a few different ways, but...:
A ST I posted for transfer was sold (early may). He was still on my roster in September. When you look at his tab (under team hub) it does say "joining Watford when transfer window opens."


I waited until the summer window opened and posted a different player for loan. He was picked up and immediately moved to the other team for a 1 year loan.
****I have learned a better way to insure that your player accepts a loan out. Never accept a loan move. Negotiate the move. Accept any length: 2 year, 1 year, short loan. You will be asked to pay 60% of your player's wages. You must pay the 60% or your player will decline the move.***

I didn't get a chance to try this a few different ways, but...:
A ST I posted for transfer was sold (early may). He was still on my roster in September. When you look at his tab (under team hub) it does say "joining Watford when transfer window opens."


I waited until the summer window opened and posted a different player for loan. He was picked up and immediately moved to the other team for a 1 year loan.

Are you sure the negotiating works?

I understood that if you close the transfer window during the first summer, then this bug will appear later on. Basically don't accept any deals whatsoever after the winter transfer window.

I didn’t disable the first summer window and my pre contract agreement I made during the January transfer window did join as he should have at the start of the next season. However, during season 1, I agreed a contract extension with one of my players who was in his last year prior to the January window starting and at the start of season 2 he’s gone! Super annoyed!

Another bug regarding Career Mode- This is either an error with my game or an error with the person holding the controller:

I signed several players with expiring contracts (6 months left during the January transfer window. I have no problem signing several players. Occasionally, a player agrees to the terms of the contract I offered and an email message reminds me the player is waiting for me to accept. In the transfer hub, I find the player and press the action button, but there is no action to be done. Nothing. The player becomes pissed when several days go by and I have not accepted the terms.

The player in question is 23 years old (Gabriel Jesus) and I have several million available for wages (3 mil for wages and 100 mil for transfers) for the purpose of signing a load of players with expiring contracts. It should be noted I had the contract delegated by the assistant manager. This only happens when I delegate the negotiations. All works fine when I handle the negotiation. Any solutions?

I've negotiated several loans for 55/45 that were accepted by the player. I think it literally comes down to who they are.
