PC VERSION IS THE ANSWER !

A friend gave me a copy of the PC version, sadly i had to give it back today.

My pc has a good processor and ram but a ****ty graphic card so i really can't play the game there, but i got one week learning about modding on this version.
I can tell you I'm just waiting to go back to europe to buy a good graphic card and throw the xbox one out of the window.
It's another world. All the euroleague players still have their cyberface in the game, for example, so you just can add any of them to the roster.
Also there are tons of hidden cyberfaces.
If you don't like a player's body, you just edit the player PNG and change his appearance.
Somebody added a patch that got better sweat and muscles effects on the players while playing.

Really guys, all the gamers who can afford it should seriously think about buying a gaming pc and change to pc, just like i will do soon. If you can't upgrade your actual computer because it sucks, A mid range gaming pc will cost you 500-600 and you'll be able to play 60 fps 1080 without problems. The level of customization is mind blowing.

Really, for me there is no other solution. In the PC version you can solve 99% of the "art" problems of the game, and since we all agree the gameplay for offline gamers is still the best in the business...well, you do the maths.

But if you play mostly online, then you have the problem with the cheaters....and believe me, on PC this is like a virus and 2K do nothing against it, NBA2K steam forums full of cheater threads

    ...that's why i buyed this year a PS4+NBA2K....

For players like me, who have to work and have a family, im fine with my PS4 to play maybe one hour in the evening and this not every evening.

        I know, you are right.

Since I play offline I love the customization and the possibilities.

I understand you, but i'm and "old" guy too and I play mainly offline. That's exactly why I liked the pc version, it reminds me of the old time with nba live 2000 with all the patches, the cyberfaces, courts, it was like going back

They were banning in 2K16, not sure about last year as I skipped 2K/NBA gaming.

There is TruePlay but only for Windows Store games.

ya we kinda wanna keep the hidden cyberface thing on the down-low, okay op? but now that you've posted about it loud and clear here, 2k may do some cleaning up next year of the unused files.

Nah im done with PC gaming. There's way too many issues to deal with and you're always chasing better frame rates.

The PC version basically is NBA gaming nirvana...

Courts, player s all updated....even little known players have someone who has made a mod for their missing tattoo etc etc. New scorecards...new net and rim sounds if you want...it is basically all there.

For OFFLINE season / franchise players, it is insanely good. I have an AMD 480 card, i.e. Midrange, and can run it super smoothly at 75FPS (3440 *1440 34 inch Ultrawide monitor)

For ONLINE players...whole different story. Consoles = much better option.

Offline season / franchise only players though would be crazy not to get it if they have a semi decent PC.

NLSC forum has a section with the programs to download to mod the game, in youtube there are a lot of tutorials (the user who uploads the most is called The Goods).

NLSC forum is the best resource for that.

                        facts.

My problem is the graphic card, but I'm going to change it soon.

So you are using RX 480? they told me is really good

its Not that you need that much of a high end PC to run 2k18... my PC is 4 years old now and the Price was around 650€ back then and i can still run 2k18 with high settings and get 100 fps on average.

I love playing 2k on pc. All because of the mods. I remember the first time I seen all the mods on the pc version. I was so hyped. But when I returned to console I was smh. I've been getting it on pc ever since. 2k was the reason I bought me a gaming computer. I have a 980 ti and it gets the job done for me.
