Man or Zone?
 

Is there any way I can tell if a defense is in man or zone without sending one of my receivers in motion? When I play online, my opponent can obviously tell what I'm doing if I send a receiver in motion and then back to his original spot.

NAFAIK.

Why not just do it on running plays also? I'm assuming you're only doing it during a passing down... right? So then... do it during a run as well!

That's the whole point of "disguising" the play... :waytogo:

Just look at the defense and find where mismatches are. For example if you have 2 wideouts to the left and 1 to the right, yet the defense has just 1 DB to the left and 2 on the right, this imbalance shows the defense is in zone. It's pretty easy to tell.
