Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions
3 quick noob questions...
1) What is the difference between the L1 & R1 modifers? I can't seem to figure out how the differ
2) How do you do spinning back fists/side kicks? I managed to do a wheel kick with Conor but was trying to do his turning side kick at the time...
3) I remember reading in GDP's blog that R1 is elbows in the correct range but I haven't been able to throw any yet, is that for standup or just for GnP?
Thanks in advanceComment

Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions
Guys, do those sidestep and lunge moves to avoid body shots and leg kicks in UFC 3 beta look like parry animations in UFC 2 ?
They say they have the same evasive property as parrying high and low strikes. But do they look like one.
One thing is if you use lunge early that would be a lunge but if you use at the right time between late and early frames it should be a parry and parry animations should be executed in RPM during locomotion or while standing. Though parry is gone but it is still realistic and counter strikes from parry in this manner should not be OP but should depend on strikes countered with but with less damage than unanswered strikes.
Parry should only be used to avoid slow strikes and the likes of straights and jabs. Not for counters.Last edited by bram; 12-05-2017, 04:24 AM.Comment

Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions
I have big problem with controls ahhh cant do anything right know. Its my 10 fight arleady....
Wysłane z mojego LG-H525n przy użyciu Tapatalka2k18 fixes
Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Cant used to them constantly using ls back to throw hook for example and i cancel a lot of strikes because im used to blocking from previous ufc games.

Re: Noob EA UFC 3 Beta Questions
Its simple muscle memory. We are all used the controls from EA UFC 2 so takes 2-5 hours and ur back on track.
For all special strikes, go to options and go trough move list. Spinning Elbow is kinda L1+R1+R2+square/triangle.
Difference between L1 and R1 is simple:
L1 ist only to perform hooks and R1 is like the old special moves modifier. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.Comment
